Welcome beautiful souls.
This is JB and welcome to this sleep story at the beach.
So let's get into your favourite sleeping position.
Make sure you're comfortable.
Close your eyes and let's relax.
Just imagine you're at the beach now,
Standing in the soft crumpley sand.
You don't have any shoes on.
Looking down at the sand,
You feel the warm sand tickle between your toes.
You see something moving out the corner of your eye.
You turn and see a small crab.
With a bright red back and black legs.
It is small and running so fast.
Running from the sun.
It buries itself deep in the sand and in an instant it's gone.
You wonder to yourself,
What is its home like?
Does it have any friends there?
What about family?
What would its home be like in the warm sand?
Looking up along this long stretch of beach,
You are alone.
There's no one around.
Miles and miles of beautiful sand and sea.
As far as the eye can see.
The sand is so clear and it's like the colour of crystallised set honey.
The sky has one constant shade of brilliant blue.
The sea is crystal clear and you can see to the bottom.
You can see all the little fish swimming.
Just going along their day without a care in the world.
Then you start walking along this long stretch of beach.
The sun is so warm on your face.
You look up and see the sun amongst the clouds.
The clouds dancing along the sky like fluffy candy floss constantly moving in formation.
But the position is ever changing.
Always moving,
Never still.
You feel a breeze gently passing by and it feels soft and sweet on your skin.
Touching all the hairs on your arms,
Making them stand on end.
Prickly and playful with the breeze.
Like two people swaying and dancing on a dance floor.
In perfect harmony.
You keep walking for a while and look at the water.
Constantly moving,
Coming in and going out.
Coming in and going out.
Constantly moving in and out.
In and out.
All of a sudden you feel the urge to go into the water.
You start to walk into the sea.
You walk deeper and deeper.
Feeling the sand gently giving away under your feet.
You keep going deeper and deeper.
Deeper and deeper.
Then you can't touch the bottom anymore.
So you turn over on your back and just float.
The water supports you and you just float along.
You feel the water bobbing you gently up and down.
Up and down.
You're flowing along with the constantly moving tide.
Up and down.
Up and down.
You're just hanging out there fully supported by the water.
As if you were lying on a soft mattress.
But a mattress that fills all your little gaps and edges.
Making you feel the ultimate in comfort.
Bobbing up and down.
Up and down.
As you're laying back you look up to the sky and you see birds flying overhead.
Flying in formation perfectly.
Wings flapping all at the same time in unison.
Making a noise that they all seem to understand.
Like bird language.
Is that even a thing?
You see a plane passing.
Wondering where are the people off to?
Sunny islands far away maybe.
Reuniting with family.
Going on an exotic holiday.
Or even a well-deserved break.
You're still bobbing up and down.
Up and down.
Bobbing up and down.
Up and down.
Then it starts to get quite warm and you decide to go back to the beach.
So you point yourself in the right direction and slowly paddle your feet.
You hear the water splish splosh splish splosh.
Splish splosh splish splosh.
You keep paddling.
Splish splosh splish splosh.
Splish splosh splish splosh.
As you arrive close to the beach you turn over.
Your feet touch the bottom once again and you start to walk back onto the sand.
The water runs off you as you walk out of it.
Tripping down your face,
Down your arms,
Your body,
Down your legs.
You leave a trail of dark spots in the sand.
The sun is warm and bright.
It starts to dry you off as you walk.
You walk back towards some trees that give you some shade.
When you reach the trees you see a nice mat right under a palm tree.
Looks like it was put there just for you.
And you think,
How thoughtful.
You take a seat.
It is very comfortable.
There's also a cool refreshing drink on the beach.
As you pick up the drink the ice clinks together.
Because it's so warm outside it melts fast.
The bubbles coming up to the top of the glass popping like a celebration of reaching their goal.
You put the drink to your lips.
Your lips tingle with the cool touch of the glass.
You tip your head back and gulp it down.
You can feel the cold slipping down your throat.
Like the movement of the sea.
Ever moving,
Never stopping.
You keep drinking then you finish it off.
It is so cold and it cools you down beautifully.
Suddenly you yawn.
You feel so tired.
You have a full stretch of your arms.
Then you lay back and stretch out on the mat.
Relaxing and feeling so at ease.
Your eyelids feel so heavy and barely keep them open.
Just surrender and close your eyes.
Taking in the sounds and smells of your surroundings.
Letting thoughts of the day come and gently leave.
Smiling to yourself and feeling so happy.
The warmth of the sun comes over you now.
Like a warm blanket.
With a slight breeze from time to time so you're not too hot.
Lying down there everything is perfect.
Water swaying in the background.
You are just melting into the mat.
You feel like you're part of the mat.
You feel at peace.
Then you melt further into the mat.
You feel complete.
Melt further into the mat.
You just fall asleep.
Melting further into the mat.
You just fall asleep.
You just fall asleep.
You just fall asleep.
You just fall asleep.
You just fall asleep.
You just fall asleep.
You just fall asleep.
You just fall asleep.
