Embracing and learning from your past is crucial for personal growth and completeness. While it's natural to want to forget painful experiences, acknowledging and healing from them allows you to retain the wisdom gained. This process helps to prevent repeating old patterns and contributes to ongoing positive evolution and transformation. I want to thank Claire Ottewell for being the voice of Shaltazar and Music of Wisdom (Narek Mirzaei) for the background music.

Shaltazar,

Oracle card number 45,

Learn from your past.

You may think what is in your past is gone,

Over,

Complete,

But it is still part of you,

For you are your past,

You are your present,

And you are your future.

You may not have liked who you were,

And you may not have liked your past,

But it is important to pay homage to it.

Allow your past to be healed,

Honored,

And exalted,

No matter how painful or beautiful it was.

It is understandable you would want to forget and run away from those unpleasant,

Uncomfortable,

And difficult experiences,

But your past is part of you,

And until you can accept that you will not live in completeness.

By overlooking,

Running away from,

And hiding your past,

You are ignoring an aspect of you.

The highest level of learning is experience.

By concealing,

Forgetting,

And omitting the occurrences of your past,

You miss out on a chance to have a better life.

We are not suggesting you hold onto,

Or become obsessed with past happenings which no longer serve you.

You can let go of the memories without letting go of the wisdom you gained from those experiences.

You often focus too much on your desires for the future,

But it might be wise to heal your past so you are not stuck repeating the same lessons over and over again.

Don't come from regret and remorse,

But lovingly reflect on how you can change and grow from having experienced what you did.

The past can be one of your greatest teachers,

So don't ignore it.

There are many gifts hidden in that which was.

Allow your past to bring deeper awareness to who you are today and what you can become,

So you will continue to evolve and transform in a positive way.
