Today,

You're calling in the energy of inspiration.

Don't worry if you haven't felt it in a little while.

It's always there,

Within yourself,

Waiting for you.

Your creative side is ready to lead the way if you let it.

My name is Kimberley de Silva and I'm so excited you're on this immersive journey with me.

Get cozy,

Get comfortable and start slowing down your breath.

You can sit with your back against something or lie down on your bed.

Whatever feels good to you right now.

Create the space to relax completely.

Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Soften from the top of your head all the way down to your pinky toe.

If you're finding it difficult to loosen your grip or let go of your thoughts,

Focus on your breath.

In through your nose,

Out through your mouth.

At first you might get distracted right away and that's okay.

Just come back to my voice and your breath.

With each inhale and exhale,

You notice that it becomes easier to bring your attention back to your breath.

Easier to quiet your busy thoughts.

In through your nose and out of your mouth.

In and out.

In and out.

One more time,

Follow along with me.

The deepest breath you've taken all day.

In,

Out.

Return to your normal breath.

Inhaling and exhaling through your nose.

But notice how those deep breaths linger in certain parts of your body.

Did it warm your throat?

Expand your chest?

Let go of your surroundings.

Be in this moment.

In your very own body.

Now bring your awareness to inspiration.

What does inspiration mean to you?

How does it feel to be inspired?

Don't feel discouraged if you can't come up with something right away.

Just let your mind wander into the concept of inspiration.

What is a spark of inspiration to you?

Have you been feeling creative lately?

Or does it feel like there's something standing in the way?

What is coming up for you?

If you're looking for inspiration today,

All you need to do is call it in.

Focus your awareness on it and inspiration will be there.

Trust yourself.

Trust your inspiration.

And ask it to lead the way to a new idea,

A solution or a feeling of excitement.

Keep following my voice as your guide.

But leave room for your own inspiration to jump in at any time.

Imagine that you're standing outside.

On the wooden deck of a beautiful house.

It has the most breathtaking view of the ocean.

And there are palm trees all around you.

As you walk towards the railing,

You notice that everything is cast in an orange glow.

The sun is slowly making its descent right above the water.

The sky is streaked with pink hues.

Little clouds diffuse the light so it almost feels like you're in a hazy dream.

The air is humid in a way that makes you feel comforted and cozy.

Let the breeze glide over your arms.

Then it starts raining.

Just a little drizzle.

You can feel it cooling your skin.

The sound of raindrops falling on the deck and waves crashing in the distance transports you to another world.

You look out at the ocean.

It has taken on a pink reflection as if the water is lit from within.

It's magical.

The colours and textures like a watercolour painting.

This moment is so vibrant.

What else do you notice?

Let your gaze melt into the soft glowing light of the sun.

This bowl of fire radiates inspiration.

All your senses are heightened.

You can taste the salty humidity on your lips.

You can hear the sound of waves and smell the rain falling on the greenery.

The sunset colours are imprinted on your eyelids.

You are in awe of this scene.

In awe of your very own imagination.

In awe of all your senses being able to take in this work of art.

Now let that glowing energy of inspiration move from your mind's eye into your physical body.

Maybe it feels like the sun is glowing inside of you,

Casting its rays all around you.

Let it shine brightly.

Can you feel that spark?

How does it feel to be inspired?

Like a soft hum at the crown of your head?

A tingling at your temples?

Does it feel like a flutter in your heart?

Are your hands buzzing with energy?

No need to force anything.

Just let your body feel the message.

Notice it.

Trust that you are doing everything right in this moment.

Let the energy of inspiration,

Life,

Ideas,

Creativity,

Movement and renewal flow through you.

It feels joyful and warm.

It shows you the endless possibilities.

Anything is possible when you let inspiration take the lead.

Let the glowing sun rays clear out any tension that's lingering in your body.

Maybe it feels good to shake out your shoulders and hands,

Wiggle your hips or unclench your jaw.

Clear out anything that's holding you back.

Your imagination is powerful enough to move through any creative blocks or stagnant energies.

Let inspiration clear any obstacles and blockages.

Let it recharge you.

Now say this affirmation three times,

Out loud or in your head.

Creative energy now moves freely through my mind and body.

What makes you happy?

What do you desire?

Be open to the answer.

Don't brush anything off for being unrealistic or too big.

Is it coming into focus?

Are you catching glimpses of people,

Places,

Experiences,

Dreams?

It might show up as a still image or unfold like a movie scene.

Maybe you see colors or words drifting into your mind's eye.

Do you hear an inner whisper?

Don't try to analyze anything yet.

Just let it come to you.

Be curious.

Is there something you want to create?

An idea you want to bring into this world?

I'm going to be quiet for a little bit while you listen to your own inspiration.

Let it take you on a journey.

Trust it.

Ask yourself how you can take one step towards feeling more inspired today.

Start small.

Can you write one sentence of a novel today?

Can you go for a walk later?

Try a new class?

Make a phone call?

What will bring you a little bit closer to this vision,

To this new idea?

You are here for a reason.

To find your spark of inspiration and follow it.

You can do it.

You are ready.

Now bring your attention back to the wooden deck with the stunning view.

Thank the sun for sparking your inspiration.

Thank the ocean waves and the rain for cleansing you.

Thank yourself for calling on your inspiration today.

Slowly come back to the here and now.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Maybe it feels good to roll your shoulders.

Or gently move your head from side to side.

Keep your eyes closed for a little longer.

Bask in the energy of your new ideas,

Your creativity,

Your flow.

The more you practice following that spark,

The easier it will become to connect with your inspiration.

And the more natural it will feel to create.

Now open your eyes and come back to your surroundings.

Thank you so much for trusting me to guide you today.

I hope you feel a fresh wave of inspiration flowing through you now.

This meditation will be here anytime you need a reminder of that spark within.
