Breathe in the fruits of the spirit.

Before we begin,

Take one deep breath in through your nose.

Hold it for a moment and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Let everything that's heavy begin to settle.

You are safe.

You are seeing.

Now let's affirm the fruits of the spirit together.

Repeat after me out loudly or silently within.

God gives me love to rest in.

God gives me joy for strength.

God gives me peace to keep me from worry.

God gives me patience to walk in.

God gives me kindness to keep my heart warm.

God gives me faithfulness to set me free.

God gives me goodness to overwhelm me with grace.

God leads me with gentleness.

He is so compassionate towards me.

God is building me up in self-control.

God is everything I need.
