Hi, I'm Christina. Here's another story from Heaven's White Desk. I walked next to God into the main square of the Kingdom of Heaven. There was a flurry of joyful activity. We are preparing for a festival, God said. I have asked many people to come and speak to you today. I told them you would be attending. Would you mind meeting them at the festival? God put an image of a video game in my mind that my husband and daughter usually play called Stardew Valley. There is a town calendar and the players can go to many different festivals. It made me laugh and I felt like God was just having fun with the reference. I opened my mouth to answer but God had already disappeared. I walked to the square and noticed that my desk was sitting in one of the tents as if I had signed up to be a vendor. Interesting, I thought. Since I knew the festival hadn't started, I walked around to see the other vendors around me. There were many mediums and healers popping in and out at different times. I circled back to my tent and a banner appeared above my table. It read, Sacred Storyteller. Let's do this, I said to myself as I moved around to my seat at my desk and sat down. The medium walked up to my table and sat down across from me. God asked me to come and speak with you today. I know I am stuck. I am afraid of people judging me. I love working with the spirits that have passed away but I am so afraid of people hiring me just to tell me that I am a fraud. I am just trying to help them. I don't want to be wrong. I even offer a money back guarantee. I know I should be charging more for my work. She continued on and on. I merely listened. Several hours later she stopped, Looked at me and asked, What do I do? May I tell your story? I asked in reply. She nodded her head up and down. Come, I am meant to take you somewhere. We walked together out of the festival, Across the field of grass, Until we arrived at the edge of a cliff. The cliff was the beginning of an enormous canyon. On the other side of this canyon is happiness, I explained. Her energy deflated. The canyon represents your fears. A small tear formed in the corner of her eye. There's no way I would make it through the canyon, Christina, She said, Shaking her head no and taking a small step backward. I placed my hand on her shoulders and turned her around. A few steps in the new direction was the flower garden. What if, I paused, What if the path that you think is before you, I turned her back around to show her the canyon, Is the path that you have forged in your mind because of all the fears you have about what you think is the next step in the direction that you should go and not just a step in the direction that you would like to go. I turned her back around. Do you like flowers? She shook her head no. I know you don't like canyons. Now I know you don't like flowers. What do you like? Crystals, She whispered. I turned her again, A slight angle from the garden, And there was a path lined with piles and piles of crystals. I don't want to be a vendor. The crystal garden shifted. I want to use them for divination. The piles shifted again. I want to work with witchy types. The garden shifted again. What do you like about working with witchy types? They are so loving and accepting. They are so connected to nature. And she continued on and on again. I stood next to her and listened, Her energy lifting and lightening as she explained everything she loved. I could feel the canyon behind us closing, Shrinking in size. When she was done explaining all that she loved, I turned her around to show her the canyon. It was a small ditch. What do you think happened? I asked her. I shifted my energy from being afraid of serving everyone to the joy of serving those I love to serve, She replied with a smile. We slowly walked back to the festival, Brainstorming all the ways she could find the people she'd like to work with, The type of work she'd like to do, And the ways she would like to do it. It was a fun and lighthearted conversation. Thank you, Christina. This experience is something I'm going to remember when I start to feel like my canyon is getting too deep.
