Hello and welcome.

My name is Leila and today I will share with you the practice I did daily to heal my chronic pain.

If you're in pain right now,

I feel you and I know how hard it can be when you're actually in the reality of pain.

But I want to assure you that if you do this practice with a lot of love,

Patience,

Kindness,

And respect for yourself,

Your pain will ease and you will feel better.

To begin,

Find a comfortable seat or lay down.

Grab any pillows or blankets that you might need to really feel safe here today.

You can start to close down your eyes and deepen your breath.

Starting to drop into your body,

Inhaling through the nose and exhaling out the mouth.

And as you breathe here today,

Take a moment to just think about what your life will be like when the pain eases.

What are some things that you are really excited to do when you're pain-free?

How are these things going to make you feel?

Just take a mental note on what these questions brought up for you and we will return to them once we drop deeper in.

We'll begin with three hums today.

Really vibrating three different areas of your body,

First one being the pelvis and the stomach,

Second one your heart space,

And the third one the top of your head.

Really move your hums to these areas of your body and feel these areas vibrate three-dimensionally.

Let's begin together.

Inhale,

Humming into the belly and the pelvis.

Hum into your heart space.

Take a big breath in and send the next hum to the top of your head.

Feel the effect that the vibrations have on your body.

Then really gently visualize a white light coming from the top of your head down into your body.

And this white light is dripping down as it touches different areas of your body.

You feel those areas dissolve into this white light.

So taking a body scan here,

Feeling this white light touch your forehead,

Feeling it move down towards your eyes,

Your ears,

And the back of your head.

Track it as it covers your nose,

Your mouth,

The back of your skull,

And feeling this light move down your neck and your shoulders,

Back of your neck,

Back of your shoulders,

Back of your shoulders,

Feeling this white light and light in your ribcage three-dimensionally,

Your upper arm,

Your forearms,

And your hands.

And feel this white light move down onto your belly and the back of your body.

Feel it fill up your pelvis,

Your leg,

Your shins,

And your feet.

So this white light is taking all of your body inside it.

And you still feel really aware and really alert here.

And in this space,

Start to visualize your pain-free life.

Imagine waking up from your bed with no pain in your body.

First,

Take note of how that would make you feel.

And don't think about feeling as labels like happy,

Sad,

Excited.

But think about them as sensation,

Like a fluttering of your heart,

Or openness of your chest,

Or relaxation of your shoulders.

Just think about how waking up pain-free would make you feel in your body.

Try to stay with that feeling for as long as you can here.

And keeping that feeling with you,

Visualize yourself from the third person moving along your pain-free day.

What do you do first when you know that the pain is gone?

Who do you tell first in your life that your pain is now gone?

What is their reaction?

How does their reaction make you feel?

Visualize this conversation or exchange with as detail of sensation and feeling as you can here.

And visualize yourself continuing on your pain-free day.

What else do you do today?

What is something that you've been really missing that you are now able to do without the pain that you feel?

My invitation for you each morning is to take a moment is to continue visualizing this for as long as you can.

And eventually one day you will wake up and it will be the pain-free day that you've been visualizing.

Today,

Continue on this visualization connecting to how being pain-free makes you feel for as long as you can.

Stay in this place,

Stay in this state for as long as you can.

Thank you for practicing.

Hope to see you tomorrow.
