Welcome to this guided sleep meditation called the Rain Games Festival.
Let's begin.

Ready for the Rain Games Festival story to begin.
It's quite a funny story and I hope you will help me out.
For half the story will begin now and the other half of this story will be all yours in your dreams.
With your dreaming eyes and dreaming ears,
Look and listen for rain clouds coming to you.
So let the eyes inside go up and down looking.
And let the eyes inside go side to side listening.
Keeping very still now for rain clouds do rumble like a drum roll.
These clouds may look a little grey but they really know how to play with rain.
Rain clouds a little grey that rumble are getting closer to your dream.
So let the ceiling in your bedroom fill up with exciting rain clouds.
Now the Rain Games Festival started way back.
Going back with all the grandparents when playtime was all about sports and competitions.
So one year way back it did rain so very much.
But instead of worrying about too much rain.
For worrying was a waste of time really.
Often when something big changes it's really a time to shine.
So instead they all put their thinking caps on and created something fun from all that rain.
The new sports and competitions of rain games was born.
The rain games list were kept under lock and key by all the grandparents to celebrate the rain games each year with a fun festival.
So we are going to need a lot of rain clouds to come to you.
End your dreams.
End your bedroom ceilings.
Look and listen with your dreamy eyes and ears.
These particular rain clouds knew exactly where they were going.
They had been magically summoned to start the great festival.
As the clouds rumbled they were actually talking to each other.
And all the raindrops inside these clouds were almost bursting with excitement.
For they knew how much the children loved to play in the rain.
All the clouds suddenly spotted the grandparents with their grandchildren in a large sports ground.
Lots of little flags were flying and quite a few tents serving hot cocoa.
Then with a big applause everyone clapped in rhythm.
Almost like a clapping song.
The sun was on standby for the rainbow finale at the end of the rain games festival.
Then the clapping stopped.
The clouds did the final rumble and raindrops prepared to shoot out declaring the rain games festival open.
And the first rain contest is announced called staring the longest at the rain coming down.
Hundreds of tiny raindrops all together.
Yes hundreds of tiny raindrops a mile high in the sky began shooting down.
Every child staring hard into the rain coming down.
Soon very soon children began to bleed which meant you was out.
Others started to wobble for it's hard to stare at rain for a long time.
Finally there is a winner.
For the staring at the rain the longest goes to the young boy with a red top on and receives a star badge.
Applause is given from the cheering crowd.
And the next rain contest is announced called the puddle jumping.
Only from one puddle to the next.
All the children lined up looking straight ahead with ten puddles to jump in.
The whistle blows then off they go.
The rules are if you miss the puddle you are out.
Grandparents watched cheering on the boys and girls.
Such skill is needed.
Splash and splash all the way to the end.
Then the winner is announced of ten puddles correctly splashed the fastest goes to the girl with pink shoes on receiving a star badge and a round of applause.
Then the next rain contest is announced called the hand splash at the long table.
For two children at each end of the table.
It was a bit like a game of ping pong except you were ducking your head.
The tables were very wet.
Each took their turn to splash.
And the one with the wettest face lost to the other.
Off they go at an accurate hand splash.
Keeping account of costs.
Big splashes.
Waves rolled over the tables.
And winners were announced in no time.
Winners from each table received a star badge and a big round of applause.
Now it was time to announce the rain dancing competition for the best dancer or indeed the best splash rain dancer.
So many children love to dance.
The music was loud and quite a fast song too.
Eyes of the audience watching every move and almost jumping in the air at the speed of rain flying everywhere.
Cheering them on and mustn't fall over and keep moving.
This ended with a tight,
A young boy and a little girl that had both impressed the judges.
Both collected the star badge each and a round of applause.
Now one more game to be announced before break time called the rain wrestling competition.
Two boys or two girls.
No physical harm of cause.
The rules are is just to wrestle your opponent to the ground.
The best out of three.
Tightly gripping each other and a slippery wet floor.
How quickly this technique shows the skills.
Some were very quick to win the best out of three.
Others took a little longer but exciting to watch.
And lots of stars going to all the winners.
And a round of applause.
Then the big bell rang loud and clear.
It was usual mid break for all the children to get warmed up with hot cocoa and a mini pantomime inside the festival tent.
Towels,
Hot cocoa and all the children got seated.
Watching Punch and Judy with their grandparents of course.
And of course Punch and Judy is a very funny pantomime to watch.
Now please listen carefully.
