Now, A cushion under the knees, A blanket over your body, Let your hands rest where they feel most natural. Once you are settled, Allow your eyes to gently close. There is nowhere you need to go, Nothing you need to do. This time is just for you. As you listen to my voice, Allow the body to soften. Jaw unclenching, The tongue resting easily in the mouth, The shoulders melting down and away from the ears. You are safe here. You are held here. Yoga Nidra begins with an intention, A short simple phrase that plants a seed in the subconscious mind. So as you drift towards sleep tonight, Plant this seed gently without effort. I am worthy of deep healing. You don't need to force it. Simply let the words land like a whisper. Once more, Silently to yourself, I am worthy of deep healing. And now, Release the intention. Trust that it has been received. Now we move awareness through the body. There is nothing to move, Nothing to change. Simply notice and relax. Now bring awareness to the natural breath, No need to change it, Simply observe. Feel the breath moving in and out. Notice the rise of the chest or belly and the soft fall as you exhale. Now begin to count the breaths silently. Breathing in, One, Breathing out, One. Breathing in, Two, Breathing out, Two. Continue counting gently. If the count is lost, Simply return to one. Each breath draws you deeper, More relaxed, More at ease. Now imagine the body becoming heavy, So heavy, As though you are sinking into the surface beneath you. Completely supported. Feel the weight, Stillness, The effortlessness. Now shift awareness to lightness. The body feels light, Buoyant, Almost floating, Effortless and free. Briefly notice a sense of ease, Comfort, Gentle pleasure. And then return to neutrality, Balanced, Still. Now allow an image to form without effort. Imagine a soft golden light above you. This light carries safety, Love, Acceptance. With each breath, The light gently descends, Washing over the body, Soothing every cell. Now imagine your younger self. They appear in this golden light, Just as they were, Tender, Open. You don't need to say anything. Simply allow them to be held, Seen and loved. They are safe. They are enough. They always were. The light surrounds you both, Filling the space with warmth and peace. And slowly the image fades and leaves behind a deep sense of calm. Now gently return to your intention.
