This calming Winter Morning Motivation & Manifestation Meditation is an invitation to meet your day with warmth, gentleness, and authenticity. Winter is a natural season of slowing down—one our bodies still remember, even if modern life asks us to keep moving. Our push toward constant productivity is relatively recent in human history, and in the colder, darker months, it can feel especially hard to force momentum. This meditation honors that truth while helping you gently re-engage with your day. Through soothing guidance, cozy visualization, grounding affirmations, and simple intention setting, you’ll be supported in adding just what’s needed—without rushing or overriding yourself. Perfect for winter mornings when motivation feels quiet, this practice helps you approach your day from a place of calm energy, self-trust, and sustainable focus. Hey there,

My name is Lisa and welcome to your Winter Wellness Morning Manifestation Meditation.

This intention was inspired by literally this morning,

A beautiful sunny day and 20 degrees in New York with ice and leftover snow on the ground,

The wind letting its presence be known.

On days like this,

The desire to want to stay in bed is not a sign of laziness,

May not even be a sign of seasonal affective disorder though,

Yes that is definitely real,

But it is a sign of our humanity and human nature.

Pre-1800s industrial revolution,

These days were meant for weaving,

For cooking,

For minimal intentional tasks.

There were no great celebrations,

No harvests to be tended to,

No field work to be done.

Simply tending to the babies,

Maybe making more babies,

Allowing yourself to soften,

To weave,

To rest,

And not just have one sleep,

But two sleeps.

This may sound like a luxury for those who are essential workers,

Those who work in sanitation,

Those who are firefighters,

Doctors,

Nurses,

Those who are teachers,

Or work in daycare,

Or even elderly care.

So this brief history lesson is a reminder that life didn't move so fast in the winter,

And it is okay if you are tired.

But with that my friends,

If life is either requiring us,

Or if we are very lucky gently beckoning us to move,

This meditation is to help manifest some morning motivation.

Taking a nice big deep inhale into the body,

Allowing it to be slow and gentle.

And exhale,

Sighing out,

Releasing,

Letting go.

And I invite you to try that for two more times,

Inhaling,

And exhaling.

And last big deep breath in,

And exhale.

Breathing freely and naturally,

Trusting your breath.

And I invite you to tune on in with how you are feeling this morning,

Allowing yourself to be honest.

And how you are feeling already is an invitation to match your day with that energy.

So I invite you to visualize your day ahead,

And how would your day look if we authentically match our day with the energy of what we need,

And how we are feeling.

And know it is okay to approach your day gently,

Like you are offering it warmth as we sit,

And move,

And live authentically.

And as you visualize you authentically approaching your day,

I invite you to repeat these affirmations.

1.

My presence in the world is valuable.

2.

I do not abandon my goals by moving slowly.

3.

I nurture them.

4.

Each cozy choice supports the larger picture.

5.

The movement I do today is part of a greater unfolding.

6.

Every step forward counts.

7.

I know that showing up tired still counts as showing up.

8.

I honor my day by meeting it gently.

9.

What I do today is enough for the whole season.

Maybe there is an affirmation that really stood out to you,

In which case,

Feel free to visualize your day and that affirmation.

10.

Know you are allowed to show up with a desire for gentleness.

Maybe visualizing if you approach the day from an energy of cozy,

Gentle inner warmth.

How would that look?

11.

Know that you are worthy of moving in any way you need to today,

Knowing that it is enough.

That each cozy,

Gentle step taken is adding to your overall life.

And from this space,

I invite you to set an intention for yourself for this day.

12.

Whatever it is,

Whatever you need,

Exhaling out.

And when you are ready,

My friend,

Feel free to wiggle fingers,

Toes.

Know that you are moving this energy into your morning and the day around you.

That this is your day.

That you are enough.

You are limitless.

And you have everything you need to make this your beautiful day.

I thank you so much for practicing with me,

My friend.

Until next time,

Namaste.

My heart is smiling because this is just what I needed this morning. Liza your calming voice always grounds me & helps me to root myself during the meditation 🙏🏻 it was almost as though this meditation was made for me this morning waking up to a very cold & snowy day in Missouri. I woke up feeling not motivated & tired, & after the meditation I feel that I have shifted and that whatever I do today is enough, & to honor & allow myself to slow down.

Hi Liza, what a lovely meditation session this morning. I have been struggling with the cold and my body is rebelling, so I’m going to embrace this day and slowly flow! I may go out for a walk this morning depending on the temperature. I miss your yoga classes, but I’ve been having horrible issues with my elbows and the doctors told me to rest them., not put pressure on them or lift things that are too heavy. Which is why I haven’t been in class for sometime. Anyway , thank you so much for the beautiful meditation this morning. Blessings to you.
