When life feels busy, stressful, or overwhelming, sometimes your body doesn’t need more movement. It needs permission to stop. Legs Up the Wall is a simple, deeply restorative practice that can help you slow down, release tension, and create a sense of calm in your body and mind. As your legs are supported, you can let go of the effort of holding yourself up and allow gravity to do the work. With your body supported and your breath becoming slower and easier, you can begin to shift out of stress and into a more restful state. Give yourself these few minutes to stop doing and simply be. You can use a wall, a chair, a bed, a pillow, a block, or a strap. There is nothing to accomplish here. Simply get comfortable, breathe, and allow yourself to rest.
