Welcome to your second trimester meditation.
Take this moment to show yourself gratitude and love for showing up and doing this meditation for yourself and for your baby.
Sit down comfortably or lay back in bed with your palms open and facing up,
Or rest your hands on your belly.
Start with a soft gaze and begin by taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Hold,
And out through the mouth.
Continue to take deep breaths in,
Hold,
And out through the mouth.
Take a deep breath in,
Holding at the top,
And out through the mouth.
Continue this at your own pace.
Take a deep breath in,
Hold,
And out through the mouth.
On your next exhale,
Gently close your eyes and bring your breath back to normal,
In and out through the nose.
Your baby chose you and you are the most perfect mother for your baby.
Release stories,
Fears and doubts that don't serve you and your baby.
Release shame,
Guilt and worry.
Imagine these thoughts and feelings as gray smoke swirling through your body.
I want you to release that gray smoke on every exhale.
Breathe in through the nose and exhale fear.
Continue to breathe in through the nose and exhale this gray smoke.
As you exhale,
Imagine the gray smoke being absorbed by Mother Earth.
Exhale fear,
Fear of pregnancy,
Of birth,
Of motherhood.
Exhale other people's fears that you've held on to.
Exhale stories that no longer serve you.
Exhale doubts about your body and your baby.
Exhale shame and guilt.
Exhale the worries,
Worries of birth and pregnancy and postpartum.
Imagine that smoke leaving your body.
Breathe out these thoughts that no longer serve you until all that is left,
Light,
Clean vessel for you and your baby.
Bring your focus back to your breath.
In through the nose and out through the nose.
Let your mind wander without judgment.
If you find yourself fixating on a thought,
Think the thought and release it.
Breathe in through the nose and out through the nose.
Exhale fear,
Fear of pregnancy,
Of birth,
Of motherhood.
Exhale other people's fears that you've held on to.
Exhale the fears that no longer serve you until all that is left,
Light,
Clean vessel for you and your baby.
Exhale fear,
Fear of pregnancy,
Of motherhood.
Bring your focus back to your breath.
In through the nose and out through the nose.
Exhale the fears that no longer serve you until all that is left,
Light,
Clean vessel for you and your baby.
Exhale other people's fears that you've held on to.
