Today we will be doing a guided meditation to build your inner strength and resilience.
Maybe you are currently going through difficult times and need to remember your power again,
Or maybe you would like to enhance your own resilience.
Whatever it may be,
I would be honored to support you in building your strength and resilience,
Just like the hummingbird.
I want you to begin by gently closing your eyes and settling into your seating arrangement or bed.
Take a deep inhale in from your nose and out from your mouth.
Each time you inhale,
Envision strength flowing through your body in a bright gold and yellow light.
And every time you exhale,
Release any and all fears,
Doubts,
Or limiting beliefs.
When you're ready,
I want you to take a moment to visualize your beautiful wings.
Notice the vibrant blue hues that are reminiscent of the deep oceans and the green colors that leave a beautiful,
Vibrant sheen when the light hits it just right.
Your wings might be small,
But they are powerful.
You want to fly,
But your self-limiting beliefs are preventing you from soaring into the skies.
Take a moment to identify your self-limiting beliefs and fears.
What are the thoughts holding you back currently?
Now imagine yourself looking down and experiencing the sky.
You're experiencing fear,
These thoughts,
Just as you're about to fly.
Where in your life do you currently experience fear or self-doubt that prevents you from moving forward?
Now that you have identified these limiting thoughts,
Fears,
And self-doubts,
Envision them flowing outside of you and into the air all around you.
Feel those limiting beliefs turn into wind,
Gently caressing your face and stirring with others.
These limiting beliefs,
Fears,
And self-doubts you have may come off as negative,
But they serve the purpose to protect you.
Take a moment to think about how these thoughts serve a purpose for you and then send out a message of gratitude towards these thoughts.
As you finish reflecting,
Visualize the wind stirring your blue-green wings and supporting you up and up and up.
At first,
You feel a bit of the lingering fears and doubts.
But quickly,
Those thoughts vanish into the wind that carries you.
Suddenly,
You soar into the sky.
Visualize yourself feeling the cool and gentle breeze swishing past your face and wings.
Envision the warm and gentle sunlight washing over your body.
You feel yourself overjoyed and overflowing with pride.
You are so strong to have faced a huge barrier.
Notice the sky all around you and notice the feeling of the sun and the wind.
Notice how your body feels.
Notice your wings rapidly beating to support yourself.
Notice that quiet yet loud strength.
As you fly through the skies,
You become aware that you had many hidden strengths that supported you today when flying through the beautiful skies.
You could not see these strengths before you gained this new perspective from soaring.
Take a moment to identify some of your hidden strengths.
When you're ready,
Please repeat after me.
No matter what I endure,
It only makes me stronger.
I am kind to myself despite what I have been through.
My strength is all around me.
It is safe for me to rely on myself and others.
My strength ripples and positively impacts not just myself,
But others as well.
Now I want you to take a moment to visualize a beautiful tree.
Notice the patterns of the leaves and the color.
Notice the bark and its gorgeous texture.
As you take a moment to admire the tree,
You become aware of a branch to sit on and you rest for a moment.
You are strong,
But you also take care of yourself and rest when needed.
Hummingbirds are extremely resilient creatures.
They have high energy foraging practices that require them to overwork and overload themselves.
Despite that,
They take lots of time to conserve their energy.
How can you take care of yourself even when you're going through difficult times,
When you're overworked,
Or when you were forced to be the strong one?
Thank you for joining me in this hummingbird strength guided meditation.
I am sending you lots of love and strength.
See you next time.
