Namaste.
This is a meditation technique called the Brain Bija Kriya.
We're going to use mantra.
Be just sounds that are sounds synced with the sounds of creation,
Similar to the philosophy of Aum.
They have no distinct meaning except for the vibrations that they produce.
When we use them in a sequential way,
We stimulate cellular reorganization for optimal brain health.
We also teach our consciousness to access higher planes of understanding and greater wisdom.
Through our intuitive.
Practices,
This being one of them.
I highly,
Highly,
Highly recommend trying this on for a consistent amount of time,
Say 21 or 40 days,
And just seeing how your cognitive function can improve.
You can do this at any stage of the day.
You can do it.
See you,
Deb.
You could do it laying down.
You could do it in bed even.
I would recommend that you reduce stimuli around you.
For about seven minutes,
The duration of the meditation.
And I also do recommend eyes to be closed or gazing down for the practice.
And it's very accessible for children to do as well.
So that's something you could add in on a smaller or shorter timescale for the little ones if you'd like.
As you're ready,
Find your way into your meditative posture for today.
Allow your eyes to settle or gaze to go down towards the earth.
And take a few breaths to just land.
As you inhale,
Noticing any sensations.
That are calling your attention.
And as you exhale,
Allow the body to soften.
The shoulders to relax.
The jaw to release.
Forehead lines too.
Take a few more breaths like this.
Noticing anything around you on the inhale and coming into the body as you exhale.
You may rest your hands in any position that is comfortable for you.
Resting on your lap,
Palms up or down.
Withdraw your attention in words now,
Even further.
Releasing the focus of the breath.
Begin to focus.
Your attention.
Into the frontal lobe of your brain.
Part that's closest to your forehead.
And bring your awareness now towards the left hemisphere of the brain.
Internally focusing.
Shift your awareness to the right hemisphere of the brain now.
Enlivening the right hemisphere with your presence.
Or consciousness.
Shift now your attention back towards the front of your brain.
Invite in the seed sound,
The bija mantra.
Of Hutter Inn.
H-R-I-M.
Hitterin,
Silently reverberating at the level of thought in the frontal lobe of your brain.
Hitterin.
Shift your awareness to the left hemisphere of the brain.
Invite in the seed sounds.
Shrimp.
S H R I M.
String.
Reverberating the sound shrinks.
The left hemisphere of the brain.
For the right hemisphere of the brain.
Enliven the sound,
Cleanse.
K-L-I-M.
Klim.
Than internally pulsating at the right hemisphere of your brain.
Linking that all together.
Focus at the front of the brain,
Harin.
Internally.
To the left hemisphere.
Shrimp right hemisphere.
Clem.
Front.
Heron.
Shrimp Cleanse.
Header in.
Shrimp Quinn.
At the front.
Shrimp left.
Climb to the right.
Put her in.
SHRIN clean.
I am.
SHRIN crème better in.
Shrimp cleanse.
Continue on.
In this pattern with these sounds.
The eyes may move and follow the focus internally.
Totally fine.
Innocently favoring a dream.
SHRIMP at a pace that is suitable for you right now.
If the mind wanders.
Invite the focus back.
With uttering once more.
Harin,
Shrin,
Klim.
Front,
Left.
Gradually begin to release.
The focus of the mantra.
And slowly bringing your awareness back.
Towards the center.
Releasing the focus from the brain.
Take a few moments.
To witness whatever remains in this moment.
Begin to return back to a deeper breath.
Of course,
You're welcome to stay in a seated.
Meditation or stillness for longer.
As you feel complete,
Bring your hands together in front of your heart.
Namaskar.
Mudra.
Bowing your chin in towards your heart.
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti Hari Om Tat Sat May peace be with you.
With us all.
Namaste.
