Hi everyone,
Megan here from Libra Living.
Wellness Limited for the 10th episode or 10th video,
I should say,
Of Libra Living Liberation.
Today I want to talk about Inner cheerleader.
You know,
We all struggle from time to time to kind of get motivated or get going with doing something.
And I will say for me,
For the past month or so,
It's been hard to be motivated.
Could be due to winter and it's really cold,
We don't get to go outside as much.
So it's been a challenge with focusing and getting motivated.
So I really have had to tap into my inner cheerleader and kind of give myself pep talks and be like,
Okay,
Megan,
Get up,
Get dressed.
Go do what you need to get done.
And yeah,
Kind of give myself that pep talk and a boost to.
To get going for the day and sometimes we have to do that and that's okay.
Some of us run on autopilot and we just kind of go,
Go,
Go and get things done,
But some days it's a struggle to get up and to get dressed.
Maybe it's too cold and we don't want to get moving.
We're overwhelmed by all the things that we have to do.
So we have to kind of give ourselves a little pep talk.
Embrace our inner cheerleader to be like,
Okay,
Let's get going.
Let's get things done.
And a lot of times when we start doing something,
That motivation does tend to follow.
Um,
This happened to me this week.
I was like,
Okay,
Let's get going.
Let's do this.
So I sat down at my desk,
Started focusing on my work and was like,
Okay,
Let's do this and then.
It was like hours later and I was like.
In the groove and I was ready,
You know,
To keep doing work.
So sometimes it's just the start of something,
Giving ourselves a pep talk to get started and get ourselves motivated for the day.
So my hope for everyone or anyone who's having a difficult time getting their selves.
Going for the day is just embrace your inner cheater and pump yourself up and be like,
And also kind of think about how good it's going to feel to get those things done.
That's what I tried to kind of put in my mind a lot of times because like,
Oh,
I don't feel like motivated to do this,
But I'm like,
Think of how good it's going to feel to get those things done.
On the other side of that,
It is okay to take days off if you are just really not feeling it.
Sometimes we need those days to kind of regroup or recuperate and it kind of helps us to kind of recharge and then the next day we can go at it strong.
Kind of a mixture,
Give yourself pep talks to get motivated,
But it's also allowing yourself to take those breaks when you do need.
So I hope everyone embraces your inner cheerleader and is able to get yourself motivated for what needs to be done for the day.
Until next time.
