Hello and welcome to your Flowing Creek meditation,
Recorded live near this small creek flowing through public lands outside of Portland,
Oregon.
Before this meditation,
Make sure you find a comfortable position that will help you relax for the duration of this experience.
You may hear birds and other animals of the deep forest during this meditation.
Remember whatever thoughts or images or fantasies or feelings may come into your mind or body,
Just allowing them to flow through you and away,
Just like leaves on this flowing stream.
As you come into contact with this place,
Just drawing your attention for a moment to your breath.
Breathing in and breathing out.
If any distractions should permeate your awareness,
Whether that be internal distractions or external distractions,
Just allowing yourself to return your awareness and your focus to your breath and then to the sound of the flowing creek as it endlessly washes by,
Curving and stretching through the old growth forest.
Now I'm going to stop speaking for a while.
They've already watched me for a while,
But they're not.
And now just slowly allowing yourself to return.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Just adjusting your position.
Maybe beginning to stretch a bit.
And opening your eyes whenever you're ready.
And now just taking a moment to give thanks and offer gratitude to this anonymous creek in this old growth forest.
