Hello my friends,

With a very special announcement and invitation to every single one of you.
Last year,
During Advent,
We walked together over 25,
26 or so days,
Slowly waiting for the light to come.
And this year,
We're going to do it again.
Advent 2025,
Waiting with Matthew,
Starts November 30.
Now,
The coming liturgical year is Year A,
Which means that on the Sundays throughout 2026,
We'll be hearing readings from the Gospel of Matthew.
So what better way to ease into this year,
Than to start at the very beginning of the liturgical year,
Walking every day through Advent,
Also with Matthew.
Now,
While we'll only get to the start of Matthew Chapter 5,
Every single day,
We'll be sitting with Matthew in the waiting,
Seeing and slowly having revealed to us,
The presence of God around us every single day.
And so,
November 30,
We start right from the beginning,
Matthew Chapter 1,
Verse 1.
And then day by day,
Step by step,
A little bit of light revealed,
Another movement closer towards Christmas.
Together,
Carefully sitting,
Not rushing,
But waiting with Matthew.
And so I look forward to you joining me.
