Okay,
Welcome to this EFT tapping meditation on the thought that debt isn't good or bad.
And you may have grown up thinking something completely different,
Like I did,
And really we're here to neutralize those thoughts and to allow ourselves to step into a new mindset around debt,
Because it can be so crippling to think of debt as just bad,
Or that we are bad people for having debt or using debt to get us to where we want to be.
And that does not have to be how we think about debt.
What if we thought about debt in a new light,
And we thought about it in a more supportive way,
As long as it's really connected to what it is you're trying to do in your life?
What if we saw it as an avenue to get to where we wanted,
Instead of an avenue that we weren't allowed to use,
Or we were bad for using?
So that's what we're doing today.
So go ahead,
Get comfortable.
And we are going to begin by just taking a deep breath in and out.
Go ahead and tap on the side of your hand.
And as we're getting into this,
Just think about those negative things you're holding around debt and the thoughts that you have around it,
The feelings you have around it.
And that's what we're going to work on releasing today.
So as you're tapping on the side of your hand,
Let's begin.
Even though I've had really heavy thoughts about debt my whole life,
I love and accept myself anyway.
Even though I've always felt like debt made me a bad person,
I love and accept myself anyway.
I know that I can shift my thoughts on debt so that my mindset doesn't keep me so stuck,
And I love and accept myself.
Go ahead,
Take a deep breath in and out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
I was taught that debt was bad,
Side of your eye.
And I have a really hard time seeing debt differently,
Under your eye.
Even when I've had to acquire debt,
Under your nose,
It just felt really bad,
Under your mouth.
I felt like a bad person for having debt,
Collarbone.
I just saw debt as a really bad thing,
Under your armpit.
And I want to release that,
Top of the head.
This mindset is no longer helpful for me.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
What if I saw debt differently,
Side of your eye?
What if I didn't see myself as bad or debt is bad,
Under your eye?
What if I saw debt as necessary sometimes,
Under your nose?
What if I saw debt as having the ability to help me sometimes,
Under your mouth?
What if I saw debt as a decision to pay something off over time,
Collarbone?
What if I saw debt as a catalyst to get to where I wanted to be,
Under your armpit?
What if it was okay to pay something back over time,
Top of the head?
What if debt wasn't good or bad?
Take a deep breath in and out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
I know what I was taught about debt,
Side of your eye.
But thinking that debt is bad has kept me stuck,
Under your eye.
And I'm here to release that,
Under your nose.
Debt isn't good or bad,
Under your mouth.
Debt is a choice that I am allowed to make,
Collarbone.
A choice to pay things off over time,
Under your armpit.
This choice isn't a good or bad choice,
Top of the head.
It's just a choice that I have the ability to make if it feels right to me.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Tap at your eyebrow.
I am seeing more and more that debt isn't good or bad,
Side of your eye.
Debt can be so helpful to get me out of situations,
Under your eye.
I also don't need to take on debt,
But it can be useful sometimes,
Under nose.
It's completely up to me what I do,
Under your mouth.
But I will no longer judge myself if I choose to take on debt,
Collarbone.
Because debt isn't good or bad,
Under your armpit.
Debt is just a decision that I always have the power to make,
Top of the head.
I no longer believe debt is good or bad.
It just is.
And I love and accept myself.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Okay,
So that is the end of our tapping meditation on debt not being good or bad.
And just neutralizing those thoughts and feelings around debt.
And also allowing you to shift how you're thinking about debt.
Because it can be very useful for some of us sometimes,
At different points in our life.
And it doesn't have to mean that we're bad people,
Or that that debt is bad,
Or there's something wrong with us that we needed to take on some debt.
Because it can be a useful avenue to get to where you want to be.
And that is totally okay.
So thank you so much for listening today.
I hope you have a great rest of your day.
