Welcome to your morning self-love meditation.
In this practice we will start our day by pouring into ourselves all the love and care that we need to move about our day with grace and ease.
We've all heard the cliches,
You can't pour from an empty cup,
Put on your own oxygen mask first,
But no matter how hackneyed these words seem,
They are still simply true.
You must truly deeply love yourself first,
Before you can bring that love to those around you.
Every living being is worthy of love and acceptance,
That includes you sweetheart.
You are worthy of the most passionate enduring love the universe has to offer,
And it all starts here,
This morning,
This moment,
With the words we are about to offer ourselves together.
So take a deep breath,
Hold it at the top,
Exhale and let's begin.
Find a comfortable position and bring your attention to your heart.
You may wish to place one or both hands over your heart.
Perhaps you can feel your heartbeat,
Perhaps not.
Know that by placing a hand on your heart you are sending a signal to your brain that you are safe.
You may feel your body's response to this,
Or not.
Take a moment to offer gratitude to your heart as we enter this practice together.
And now we will introduce our centering thought.
I love myself.
I fiercely love myself.
I passionately love myself.
My self-love sets me free.
I love myself.
I fiercely love myself.
I passionately love myself.
My self-love sets me free.
Don't worry if you forget some of the words or mix them up.
Just allow the energy of the words to permeate your body,
Mind and soul as you speak them aloud or utter them silently in your mind.
Once again.
I love myself.
I fiercely love myself.
I passionately love myself.
My self-love sets me free.
Repeat this phrase silently in your mind for the next few minutes.
If at any point you find your mind has wandered off into thoughts,
Gently bring it back by returning to the words.
Drawing this practice to a close now,
Press your hands to your heart to seal in this intention and bring it forward into your day.
Repeat to yourself one more time,
Aloud if you can.

Now take a deep breath,
Exhale and step back into your day.
