In this body scan meditation, one-year-olds and their parents/teachers will pay attention to certain parts of their bodies by touching, squeezing, rubbing, and wiggling their body parts. Children will also be encouraged to take deep breaths to relax their body parts.

Welcome to the body scan meditation for one year olds.

We're going to pay attention to our bodies.

First,

Let's touch our toes.

Squeeze your toes.

Rub your toes.

Wiggle your toes.

Take a deep breath.

Relax your toes.

Now touch your legs.

Squeeze your legs.

Rub your legs.

Wiggle your legs.

Take a deep breath.

Relax your legs.

Now touch your belly.

Squeeze your belly.

Rub your belly.

Wiggle your belly.

Take a deep breath.

Relax your belly.

Now touch your head.

Rub your head.

Wiggle your head.

Take a deep breath.

Relax your head.

Parents,
