Hi,
I am Pip Roberts.
I'm just going to say that you choosing now to take a moment to recharge is an excellent decision.
Let's begin by lying down.
If lying down isn't accessible to you in this moment,
Find yourself seated.
However we are,
I would love us to just be comfortable.
Comfortable and warm.
And whilst we are working our way towards that place of comfort,
I'm going to invite you to take a soft and full inhale.
And when the exhale comes we're going to let it out with a sound,
Maybe it's a sigh,
Maybe it's something louder.
And if that felt really needed,
Maybe it happens twice more.
And we continue to move towards being comfortable,
If we're not yet there.
Once we found that place,
Let's begin to collect our awareness in towards ourselves.
Life often pulls us in all directions,
So this,
This is your moment for self.
Let's gather our awareness towards our physical body for a moment.
The very crown of the head.
Each side of the head.
And the back of the head.
The forehead.
The temples.
The brows.
The eyelids.
Getting a sense of your eyeballs themselves.
The bridge of the nose.
The tip of the nose.
And inside of both of your nostrils.
The cheeks.
The lips.
The tongue.
Aware of all of your teeth.
The jawbone.
And the tip of your chin.
Your voice box.
The back of the neck.
The sides of your neck.
The tops of the shoulders.
Maybe they want to draw down a little.
The upper arms.
The lower arms.
Your open palms.
And the knuckles in each of the fingers and thumbs.
And tracing your awareness back up to the armpits.
To the back of the shoulders.
The upper chest.
The lower chest.
Sides of the ribs.
And the middle back.
The belly.
The lower back.
And the hips.
Both bumcheeks.
The upper legs.
The lower legs.
The soles of the feet.
And the joints in all of the toes.
Resting now in awareness of the whole body.
From the very top of the head to the very tips of those toes.
Your whole body present here now.
Sensing into yourself.
Having an awareness of the parts of you that are here collected.
The pieces of you that still lie fragmented.
The parts that wander.
And those that have already returned.
The chaos and the ordered.
The dull and the bright.
Welcoming every single part of you here now to practice.
Gathering your whole self here to receive.
I'm going to invite you to open your palms.
To receive.
To receive this visualisation which we might experience through any or all of our senses.
And beams of light are going to come and land in the palms of the hands.
And this light that's calm and manageable and abundant.
Once it's landed in the palms will travel through the body to the place that it is needed.
The body will call this energy in to the places that need recharging.
We don't need to know in our heads where this energy is needed to land.
Just trust that the body knows.
So this light that's calm,
Manageable and abundant lands in the palms and travels through your body to wherever needs a recharge.
We're going to allow ourselves to be with that.
To observe that through all of our senses.
To witness this recharge.
To plug ourselves into source for this moment.
Opening out to receive.
We might witness the energy moving around our bodies.
We might sense into how it lands and meets us to begin with.
Whilst it might be that we are not yet fully recharged.
I'm going to invite you if you are.
If you're there and you're feeling a hundred percent again.
To rest into that fully charged body of yours.
If we're not quite there or if we're still far from there.
Stay open to receiving this light.
Be in that for a moment longer.
I want you to know that you can come back to this practice anytime that you like.
As the light source begins to fade.
It's not forever.
It's just for now.
As we begin to bring this practice towards a close.
Getting a sense of where this practice has delivered you to today.
The things that have subsided perhaps.
As well as the things that arose for you.
As you rest into your body in this moment.
Are there any parts of you that feel ready to begin to move?
If there are allow them to begin to explore how that movement feels.
There's no hurry or any particular way in which this may unfold.
Each of us is different and each time we come around from rest our bodies might draw us towards a different thing.
Perhaps again there's that soft and full inhale.
And the exhale may carry something out that your body doesn't need to carry into the rest of the day.
It might be a sound a sigh.
Just something that's truly you.
And again notice how it feels.
Arms together and rub them so that the heat begins to build in both of them.
And then we're going to take that warmth onto our bodies and allow our bodies to drink it in wherever our bodies are calling for that warmth right now.
Thank you so much for practicing with me today.
I hope to practice with you again soon.
