2025 The Energies Influencing Business

Each year I prepare an overview of the energetics we will be entering and how this affects you as an entrepreneur and what your business will need in the coming year.

Let's start off with a few highlights of the energetic themes.

There's going to be a rise of self,

Of identity and inner compass.

There's also going to be a restlessness with people wanting to be through to the other side of change already.

And there will be a readiness to let go but that's going to be tethered to a sense of uncertainty.

There's going to be a lot of deep work to understand the outer expression of inner change.

It's definitely going to be a year of realisation and coming to terms with your own truth.

But there's still going to be some frustration at lack of movement because it's still attached to the old.

For some context 2025 is a nine year.

Nine years are the end of cycles,

The release of the old.

Nine years show you how to embrace the new by letting go of the old.

If you try to hold on to that old energy,

Resistance and frustration surge.

New energy is moving in,

Old energy has to move out.

New energy will be feeling particularly strong.

Astrologically we will be coming to terms with Pluto moving into Aquarius.

There are also major planetary transits in a short period of time that are going to shine a light on the changes we need to make in different areas of our lives and how to make them.

There will be a lot of inner work this year.

The collective journey through the elemental cycle is also shifting.

We've spent a long time in water coming to terms with our identity and a relatively short period of time in earth drawing in those energies of creation.

During 2025 we will be emerging from this earth energy and feeling the pull into a more expanding and expansive energy.

The pull will feel strong with a sense of being hurried.

The pace of the year will be quite different to what we've been used to in the water and earth energies.

As with all cycles,

Unfinished business and loose ends keep making themselves known throughout and that's going to create some frustration,

Anxiety and maybe even some anger.

A heightened self-awareness of patterns will be profoundly helpful.

There are seven key points in the cycle of the coming year that will mark major shifts or revelations.

Personal transition through these points is unlikely to match the collective transition so you may well find yourself feeling out of step either ahead or behind during the year.

The first point of energy that is available from the 11th of November is newly emerging air energy,

Transitioning out of earth energy.

This brings with it hope and trepidation in equal measure.

Those with strong self-belief and conviction will come out on the side of hope.

Many will feel that trepidation and hold back.

The second point comes just before the full opening of air energy where vision and belief in the path are strong but the aspirations are not grounded,

Especially not in the self.

The third point comes at the beginnings of fire's influence upon air where the realisation lands that the changes are coming from within and you have the ability to act upon that.

Self-identity as an agent of change is a key turning point.

The fourth point comes just before the full opening of fire energy and is where identity,

Or more specifically the desire to be an identity,

Is forged.

This is the stepping off point,

The point of no return,

The leap into the fire,

Confronting the dragon.

The transition between these points is relatively rapid and those who have been attuned to the shifts will most likely be through these before 2025 technically begins.

The fifth point comes at the close of fire and the beginning of water's influence.

This is a point where the landscape of change and possibility opens up and you become aware of the scope and scale of the impact of the changes you have made and are in your future.

It's a kind of sigh of relief,

An assurance that your path was the right one.

The sixth point comes as earth energy begins to take over to cement and solidify the changes made,

Committing to a different future and path.

It's a gateway point.

The seventh point is exactly on the full energy of earth where the resources,

Physical and energetic,

Of the new are gathered and brought together to create an outward expression and form of what you will have been working towards.

There may be an extension of there may be an extended stay in this energy for some,

Or perhaps because of the clarity and patience that are required to do the work needed.

Considerable patience will be required when impatience will be a strong inclination.

So this pause will be critical.

The rhythm of this energy begins quickly and then slows down.

There is a sense of speed followed by more breathing space to work out how to be.

The majority of the year will be spent on coming to terms with change that has been experienced or is asking to be experienced through behavioural and identity adaptation and reflective periods of growth.

Everything that will influence this period is already on the table.

The coming year is focused on working out what this means and how to live in attunement with it.

It's a year of enactment and embodiment.

Practically this means re-evaluation,

Capacity and capability building.

The energy completes with a commitment to living and working in a different way.

The initial part of the flow will feel a bit scary and people may feel lost because it's new.

Those who revel in the new are going to find it exciting but many will be uncertain.

With this pattern of energy there will be some key collective themes emerging.

Restlessness is the first one that jumps out.

There will be a sense of restlessness and this may well lead to some hasty actions that are not aligned.

In the early phases of the energy people will feel rushed and unable to take a breath and connect within.

We will probably see many people We will probably see many people jump the gun because of this tension in the energies but this will calm down as the year progresses.

Individual power and responsibility will get a sharp focus in the coming year.

Individuals will first begin to feel a surge in their inner authority and then begin to sense the responsibility of responding to that inner calling.

It will be a recognition and a reckoning of individual power and responsibility.

People will begin to work on accepting this and working out what it means.

For some this will feel like a wait,

For others freedom.

The light is within,

A part of each of us.

That brings hope and responsibility which not everyone will be able to process easily.

It will be a year of realisation and the difficult work of coming to terms with our own truth.

It will be uncomfortable but there will also be a sense of acceptance that the path is there to be travelled.

It's quiet,

Not upbeat,

Not hopeful as such but not pessimistic or downbeat either.

Because the focus will be turned within any turmoil is likely to stay within,

Though it could also boil over into unpredictable behaviour.

There will be a lot of inner conflict resolution in the coming year.

Big energetic shifts often lead to a retrenching as people back away from their path.

There will be a fear of the unknown,

Especially the unknown aspects of self that are set to be tested.

Because retrenching into old behaviours and patterns won't work,

I expect that many will freak out and panic.

The early part of the year is pointing towards instability,

Both internally and externally.

Those who are further through the changes will understand what is happening and be able to move forward through this.

Others will need support to believe in themselves in the future.

All of this will spill over into the behaviour of your clients and customers.

Impulse reactions and buying will likely surge before calming down again.

In the latter part of the year,

Clients and customers will be more reserved and reflective.

There will be a heightened tension and a sense of frustration that spills over into their experiences of meeting their needs.

They will feel new priorities emerging for themselves,

But they will also be battling the urge to lean away from these because it brings a fear of instability that comes from actually meeting those needs.

That might be one of the reasons that comes from actually meeting those needs.

That might be rejection or the lack of ability to meet their own needs or provide for themselves if they follow their inner voice.

But the feeling that they must be met will not recede and the remainder of the year will be spent on readjusting.

In a nine-year,

There is a lot of letting go to be done,

Whilst a lot of new energy is building.

Doubtless,

There will be confusion,

Disorientation and hesitation,

Influencing behaviour and sense of wellbeing.

The more reassurance you can offer and provide a sense of calm,

The more you will be able to lead and guide your clients and customers.

In the last couple of years,

We've been operating on individual timelines.

This has led to very different lived experiences and interpretations of the state of community and life on the planet.

In the coming year,

The timelines are going to begin to converge again,

And those who are moving at a faster speed will have a role to play in holding the timeline open for those behind and lighting the path from within.

As an entrepreneur,

You will experience these energies and be guiding others through them in your own way.

You're likely to feel the need to evolve your work rapidly,

Make significant shifts in your focus within your business,

And generally be in a more fluid space than you might be used to.

You will need to be aware of your capacity – physical,

Emotional,

Mental and energetic – throughout the year and consciously build it in response to your own growth.

You may also need to work on your capability through learning new skills or honing them further.

It's important to understand your own support needs both within work and outside it.

Preparing your plan in a way that maintains your freedom to respond to what comes up,

While also giving you something to work strongly towards,

Will help you move through the early energies into the more stable energies that come after.

This may be quick for you.

You may well be through it before the beginning of 2025.

Just be aware of the destabilizing influence of change and how it makes you feel about yourself and your role as an entrepreneur.

This self and energetic awareness will really help you work out what you need to support you,

The best actions to take next and where you're heading.

The emergence energy will create new openings to which you are going to want and need to respond.

New energy is moving in.

Lean into it and the opportunities it creates.

This will help you work out what to let go of and what to deprioritize.

Be prepared to be honest about your experience.

Sharing your lived experience with your community and how you are navigating this transition will reassure them and help them find their inner strength to make the changes they feel called to make.

Model calm leadership and living through your values.

This will inspire others to find their own calm centeredness.

Your business is an expression of your soul work that will be experiencing considerable energetic shifts.

Be prepared for change and transition in this year alongside completely unexpected new directions of expression.

But also provide your business with structure using some of the following examples.

Perhaps create a value statement for your business.

What's important to you and why are you working towards it?

This doesn't have to be complex.

Just think of it as an anchor or a touchstone.

You may want to share it with your community or hold it within.

However you choose to use it,

It will help to keep your business on track.

Review how your values are upheld by all areas of your business,

Not just the public facing ones.

Are they reinforced by the actions you take and the decisions you make?

Build your circles as these will sustain your business.

Your client circle will be built around your calm leadership and transparency.

Your community will be built around your values and leadership.

Your audience will be built around your relevance to their lived experience and state of being.

Your peer network will be very important this year on a personal and business development level.

Collaboration will rise in importance which makes strong bonds with your peers professionally or personally very important.

To support your circle building,

Take the time now to clarify your central vision,

Your values and your core message.

Remember that your core message is not fixed in stone.

You will grow into new avenues of expression but this year it's about stretching into the full lessons of where you have come from and how that makes it possible to move into a new phase.

Your vision presents a different reality or experience.

Model these alternatives through your work and presence in your business and how they are helping navigate that transition.

Get really clear on what you're working towards at its broadest level and how this filters down into your business,

Your work,

Your presence.

Have a really good declutter.

There is going to be such a strong urge collectively to do this work and your business will really benefit from an early declutter.

Also be prepared to be on the receiving end of decluttering.

It's not personal.

Relationships come and go.

Do the obvious things like cleaning your inbox,

Tidying up your files,

Unsubscribing.

Delete things you are never going to read or action.

Clear the energetic structures of your business.

Old relationships with clients,

Coaches,

Suppliers.

Create new records for the new year and archive old records.

Prepare yourself to be a strong,

Quiet leader.

This isn't a year for a lot of noise.

People will need calm,

Quiet,

Assured presences around them.

But do flex your creativity.

This is vital when working with new energy.

Creative solutions and approaches will feed your business.

See beyond the veil and the chaos to find the alternative and guide people forward.

Break out of old patterns of creating because there are alternative approaches you can take that will elevate your business and position it as a creative authority.

The collective will be feeling out of balance.

It will be important for you to present your work as a way of restoring balance,

Albeit a different state of balance than before.

Balance is dynamic,

Not fixed.

Think learning to ride a wobble board.

You may not talk about balance.

That might not fit with your message,

But you can bring a sense of energetic balance through your positioning.

The talk of quantum leaping that we've all heard,

And may well increase in the early part of next year,

Isn't necessarily going to be well received.

We have to move through change,

Not bypass it.

Spend time now getting really clear on the journey you offer.

I spoke about this last year,

And the importance of your process of achieving transformation is still really important.

An added dimension this year is how that process shifts states of being.

States of being reflect the lived experience of change,

The feelings that emerge,

And how this impacts the ways people respond to their lives.

Get to understand how people are reacting,

And how they want to change their state of being.

This will provide you with the insight you need to position your work.

Reflect back to your audience what their journey has been like,

And how the decisions and choices they make from here on can transform the journey.

Also consider how your work achieves impacts that help people as individuals.

We will be moving through collective change,

But everyone has their own experience of this.

They will be feeling the surge of individuality and inner authority,

So we're going to want to be making individually appropriate decisions according to their new priorities.

Your audience will be on the same wavelength as to what those are,

So tap into these to find your hooks and angles.

Personalization is a word that has kept coming up in recent years.

It's been used extensively in all kinds of settings,

And that kind of brings some confusion.

What you need to focus on is the individual,

Their needs and wants,

And how you meet those.

You've probably been told to create an unwavering message,

And that too many angles will confuse your audience and lead to indecision around buying.

Whilst this might be true on one level,

On another it is missing a trick.

Diversifying how you present your message is personalization,

And lets your audience see your message from multiple perspectives,

Which helps you to present balance,

Confidence,

And hope.

Inner conflict is going to be a big theme.

Positioning your work to resolve this will help people find you and trust in you.

Dig deep into their lived experiences to find your angles and position your work as highly relevant and valuable to what they need now.

Some informal or formal market research will really help.

That could be as simple as an informal conversation that helps you identify the current relevance of your work.

Don't assume that what has always been the case will continue.

Change will be fast.

Agile positioning will be essential.

Position your work to offer real lasting solutions and people will respond.

With every energetic shift there is a kickback and retrenching.

This will show up in the external business world that you have to move in.

You are going to see and experience the changing business dynamic in real time.

Remember you are ahead of the curve,

Not in the melee in the centre.

Observe,

Reconfirm your values,

And focus and keep on your path.

Expect to see some questionable practices resurging,

Plus a lot of focus on areas that used to be key pain points.

Because this won't have the traction,

I suspect that there will be more pushing and more squeezing going on.

This is unlikely to be well received in the medium to long term,

But in a state of imbalance and potentially panic,

People may respond to this in the short term.

Ride that out,

Keep calm,

Keep centred and quiet.

It will not offer people what they need,

Which will make it short term.

The sense of panic will also lead to panicked messaging.

Take a deep breath,

Ignore it.

People like to skip through the messy stuff and I would anticipate a lot of focus on quantum leaping and quick solutions.

Again,

This will not offer people what they really need.

I suspect that people will become less interested in social media,

So diversifying your presence on other platforms will be beneficial as it's going to offer people different ways to connect and engage with you on their terms.

So in summary,

Change is happening.

It will be fought,

But the path is set.

As entrepreneurs,

You are moving through a changing landscape and you have a choice to respond and react or to create.

Creativity and creation will bring more growth and stability.

Boredom with the old approaches has been evident throughout 2024.

Fresh,

New approaches are being sought that actively reflect back how people feel.

You don't need to be limited or feel limited by your business options.

This year you can surge by giving yourself permission to break rules,

Imagine alternatives and put them into motion.

It doesn't matter that you don't feel like you know what you're doing.

You will find out in the process.

You will discover what you are capable of by trying.

Of course there will be failures,

But those are only ever-learning experiences.

Learn what you can do by trying what calls you.

Give it your all and you will find your path.
