Taking some nice deep breaths.
With each breath,
We feel ourselves connecting with each other on ethereal levels.
Our spirits reaching out,
Combining.
So beautiful,
Us reaching out to spirit,
To God.
Maybe the biggest word that we ever use is love.
The word that has more meanings and more weight.
Our beauty,
Life,
Word ever in our language,
In any language,
Is surely love.
It has to be love because it is what animates us.
Love is what breathes life into us.
Is God breathing life into creation?
Or breathing creation into life?
This plane of existence,
Love created this universe of sparkling beauty and stars.
Its deletions and love,
All of its emanations,
Is the most basic ingredient of life.
Is what lets us see,
Is what lets us be,
Limitlessness.
Love is what asks us for everything and then gives us everything back.
Real love,
God's love,
Doesn't really ask for anything in return.
Real love is enough in itself to not need anything back.
Real love,
It exists and when it is allowed to find expression,
Only wants to generate more love.
That's all love wants to do,
Is generate more love without need.
Feel into the generosity of heart that is love without need.
And you,
When you discover that in yourself,
Then you discover your God self,
The emanation of God that you are.
Additional needs nothing of itself.
It needs nothing but more of itself.
Love does not find fault.
Love does not really have an agenda.
Love exists as an energy,
The energy of creation.
And in that,
Does not seek to fix anything or anyone.
Simply,
Simply finds a place to be.
Will exist even in the tiniest opening for it.
Exist in a battlefield,
In the middle of devastation.
Will exist as a glimmer of light,
Bucket full of fear.
Will exist wherever it can,
Wherever it can.
And sometimes love is allowed to blossom out really big.
Fill a vacuum that was once stale and stagnant.
Happens in very unexpected ways,
Often in moments of horrific hardship.
Suddenly love is there.
War-torn country,
Find a way to celebrate.
And as bombs are going off all around them,
Found its way to that town,
That city.
Those hearts,
Makes those people brave.
Makes them smile,
Even in the face of such uncertainty.
The superpower of creation.
It seeks us out.
Each one of us individually.
Touches us,
Offers itself to us.
So many ways,
Often we don't see it or we're afraid to embrace it.
Often we limit ourselves from receiving love.
Feeling that we have to do something back.
Often we will block the flow because we're afraid of being hurt.
But it never really is the love that hurts us.
The love only holds us.
The love only nurtures us.
The love only wraps its arms around us when we need to cry.
Or when we need to say goodbye.
Even when we can't find God.
When we feel like we're in a vacuum of some kind.
Love can be there too.
It's right in your heart.
It's never not there.
We get too busy.
We get too,
Egos carry us away.
Fears carry us away.
And we forget to grow,
To be shared.
The greatest sense of renewal is when we invite love on its way with us.
See the flower growing in the parking lot.
Be made out of love.
It is who we are and what we are.
Remember that love doesn't ask for anything.
It only gives of itself and wants to share itself.
It is courage in the world to allow love to empower our hearts.
And to follow its guidance.
To follow it all the time and every minute.
Lead us,
Even if it's a tough conversation that needs to be had.
Even if it is stars that are dropping out of the sky.
It's always there.
It's always there waiting for us.
Perhaps it is time to surrender to that reality.
To the reality of His calling.
Of the intelligence.
Of the energies and consciousness.
Us recognizing and embracing and surrendering.
It's a new year.
A symbol of renewal.
May it be a year of love.
May it be a year of awakening to love.
