My name is Robert Aceves and I welcome you to this guided meditation for sleep.
Bedtime story,
The journey of self-discovery.
I'm going to ask you to find a comfortable place to sit or lie down where you won't be interrupted and where you can rest deeply.
Let's begin.
Close your eyes.
And take a deep breath in.
Letting the air fill your lungs.
Hold the air for a second.
And exhale slowly.
Letting go of any tension built up in your body from today.
Feel how each exhalation helps you to relax a little more.
Relaxing your body comfortably.
From your head all the way down to your toes.
Letting go of your day with each breath.
Inhaling and exhaling naturally.
And feeling your body relax more and more.
And if you feel like readjusting your body,
Go ahead.
The important thing is that you are as comfortable as possible.
Because this meditation is for you.
And so that you can enjoy a deep and pleasant relaxation.
At the same time that you listen to the story of Clara and David.
Your body is more relaxed and it's time to do nothing.
Just simply listen to what I'm going to tell you.
Our story begins in a small town surrounded by hills and rivers.
Where two close friends called Clara and David lived.
They were both on a search for enlightenment and self-knowledge.
They wanted to understand more about themselves and their place in the universe.
Clara was an artist who found inspiration in nature.
While David was a philosophy professor who constantly searched for the truth in every corner of his mind.
One afternoon,
Clara and David decided to go to the nearby forest to meditate and reflect as they did from time to time.
They walked along a path by tall leafy trees.
Enjoying the calm and serenity of the place.
They felt the fresh air on their faces and listened to the birds singing.
Upon reaching a clearing,
They sat down to meditate on the soft grass.
And closed their eyes.
Clara began to concentrate on her health.
Taking a deep breath,
She adjusted her body into a comfortable position.
And began to feel each inhalation and exhalation.
And at the same time,
David on her side also closed his eyes and focused on the sensations of his body.
They both felt the weight of their bodies against the earth.
And became aware of the solidity of their physical bodies.
Both friends began to notice the thoughts that passed through their minds.
Like clouds floating in the sky.
Clara observed how ideas and images arose in her mind.
And David realized that all those ideas had a kind of life of their own within his mind.
In a part of these thoughts and images that arose in their mind,
They were reminded of the great problem that was currently happening in their own town and that was worrying them.
The problem was that a deep division had come up in their village.
A famous businessman wanted to build a large factory on the outskirts of the village.
Promising jobs and economic development.
However,
This would also mean the destruction of a large and important part of the forest.
Home to many species and a place of great spiritual and emotional value for the inhabitants.
The community was divided.
Some neighbors supported the project for the economic opportunities while others were firmly against it due to the environmental and spiritual impact.
The tensions were growing and there seemed to be no solution that satisfied everyone.
This conflict was creating a negative atmosphere for many and could be felt in the air.
This is why Clara and David decided to focus their attention and meditation on this complex problem.
They reflected on how the ideas and images in their minds could mix and transform into creating new ideas.
They both knew that by using their creativity they could find a solution that would help their village and its people.
Each one immersed themselves in their thoughts,
Looking for a way to combine the different perspectives of their neighbors.
It was not easy at all as they knew that there was much to lose for everyone.
For days they encountered many mental and emotional barriers.
They realized that they not only had to deal with the ideas and opinions of others,
But also with their own fears,
Insecurities and prejudices.
Clara and David made great efforts.
They knew they had to break through their own limitations.
Their spiritual work was the most important thing for them and to overcome these barriers.
So they committed themselves to a daily practice of meditation and self-reflection.
They began to take long meditative walks through the forest,
Connecting with nature and the trees and allowing their minds to clear.
They also practiced silence,
Deepening their practice and spending time listening deeply to their hearts and the inner voice that guided their understanding.
They began to understand that the true solution required an internal change,
A spiritual transformation.
Clara had a revelation about the interconnectedness of all things.
Realizing that the well-being of the forest and the well-being of the community were intrinsically linked.
David,
For his part,
Understood that compassion and empathy were key to finding a solution that honored all beings involved.
For them,
The greatest good for the greatest number was most important.

Their meditation,

On this journey to self-discovery,
You will realize that everything that exists in the physical world began in the mind,
And your mind is the tool that will help you clarify those situations that have limited you in the past.

Rest and enjoy great inner peace and a feeling of serenity and tranquility.
