By The Grace Of God

As the morning light fills the sky,

I walk the streets.

I feel God's love shining down,

Streaming down over my face,

And through me,

From my head to my feet.

My heart aches,

And yet I am not broken.

I will surrender here.

I will offer all that I am,

And all that I have left to offer.

I surrender here,

To the infinite love of God.

To God I cry out,

This day I will begin again.

For I am baptised by love,

And filled with courage.

In surrendering I let go of fear,

Doubt,

Pain and grief,

And the worries of yesterday,

And the sorrows and woundedness of this world.

In surrendering I am healed.

By the grace of God I am healed,

In the morning light.
