Begin this meditation by sitting up comfortably in a chair with your feet flat on the floor.
Now close your eyes.
Begin by inhaling in through the nose and now exhaling it all out through the mouth.
Another deep inhale through the nose.
Exhale it all out through the mouth.
And one more really big inhale through the nose and exhale it all out through the mouth.
Now you're going to visualize a cloud that's like a pastel colored cloud above your head.
It could even look gold or silver or white.
As you're seeing this cloud above your head,
Visualize it getting bigger.
Just keep getting a little bit bigger and bigger and now you're going to see instead of rain coming out of this cloud,
You're going to visualize light like a beautiful shining gold or silver white light coming out of a cloud and washing over you like rain.
As you're visualizing this,
Really see if you can't feel it too.
Feel that flow of rain,
Of light coming down over you and washing out all of the old energy,
All of the stale energy,
The energy of others,
Really clearing your aura field.
And if you need to,
You can visualize that cloud getting bigger and bigger so that that rain really covers your entire body.
Now as you're witnessing this happening,
Really feeling into it,
Take in another deep breath here and then exhale it out.
And another deep breath in and exhale it out.
You may feel that energy just washing right off you.
You may feel it dissipating into the air,
Really cleansing you.
And now sense into this rain or this light flowing into the top of your head as well.
So we're going to feel this light,
This rain,
Clearing us out from the inside.
So continuing to visualize this light pouring in through the top of your head and washing out your head of any staleness.
Pouring through your neck,
Through your chest,
Through your shoulders,
Through your arms,
Your elbows,
Your forearms,
Your hands.
And then see that light flowing out the bottoms of your hands.
Continue to sense that light flowing in through the top of your head,
Through your neck,
Through your chest,
Through your stomach,
Your back,
Your hips,
Your legs,
Your knees,
Your calves,
Your feet.
And again out the bottoms of your feet.
Really feel that flowing,
Almost like a river or waterfall,
All through your body and draining out your hands and your feet.
And just feel into that for a moment.
Maybe taking in another deep breath here and exhaling it out.
Feeling this light clearing you,
Refreshing your energy.
And now sensing into that light that's flowing through you,
Whatever color it's appearing right now,
Whatever pastel color it's appearing or gold or silver or white.
Now see if you can't witness that light getting brighter.
To see it getting brighter and brighter inside of you,
But now see it so bright that it is pushing out from inside to the outside and creating this bubble of light around you.
Continue to see that light getting bigger and bigger,
Shining brighter and brighter and creating an entire bubble all the way around you.
Maybe see it pushing out into the entire room.
Really feeling this whole space with your light,
With your energy.
Now if you'd like to,
You can pull that back in a little bit and we're going to keep that there.
This is going to be your bubble of energy throughout the rest of this day.
Now direct your attention to your tailbone.
You're going to visualize your tailbone becoming like a tree root or a big vine.
Now seeing that tree root or that vine getting bigger and bigger,
Longer and longer,
Pushing now into the ground below you.
You may see this getting wider as you push down and making sure that it is still attached to you,
To your body as it pushes down into the ground.
And continue to push it down through layers of rocks and soil and push it now as far as you can go.
It will naturally stop.
Now you're going to actually witness more tree roots coming out of your bottom.
So seeing that main root around it,
Create some additional roots and push those into the ground as well.
They may be smaller,
They may be the same size,
But just push them into the ground and really feel them rooting you,
Creating this grounded feeling,
This feeling of steadiness and foundation.
And now take your focus and put it on the bottoms of your feet.
Again you're going to see roots or vines coming out the bottoms of your feet.
Now these will probably be smaller than what came out of your tailbone.
Whatever you're seeing here is correct.
Just push those roots or vines into the space below you,
Into the ground below you and even see them spreading out around you.
So not just down,
Also around,
Into the ground around you.
Maybe see them go through your entire room or even outside.
And now again taking in a deep breath here,
In through the nose,
Exhale it all out through the mouth.
And one more deep breath in through the nose and exhale it all out through the mouth.
Recognizing the strength that you've created today,
Putting these roots in the ground to ground you,
Letting light refresh you and shine through you and create a beautiful energy of protection,
Of life,
Of light all the way around your body.
Now go into your day knowing you're supported,
You're stable and you're steady.
