Here I speak about bullying and how that can be hard on those of us who experience it. I explain what can happen in response to that, and I also help us to come back to our true essence, through a quick simple meditation.

My name is Sangeet and today I am speaking about being bullied and how it can affect us.

We all experience all kinds of events in our lives and some of them can be very unpleasant and even traumatic.

A part of those moments can be related to specific situations in which we feel judged,

Criticized,

Manipulated,

Humiliated,

Abused and excluded in ways that can deeply affect us.

Being bullied can be defined as some sort of subtle or non-subtle,

Intentional-induced fear towards someone else through different types of abusive,

Isolated or repeated actions.

When we experience this,

Something against our nature happens.

There is a sense of separation,

Which is completely the opposite of who we are,

Of what the universe is about.

The universe is about union,

Inclusion and when something like this happens,

We sense a tremendous unpleasant feeling of exclusion,

Which automatically puts us in a complete state of fear.

Because of that,

And despite of how long we stay in that state,

We may easily enter in some sort of defense mechanism that makes us react in a strong attempt to be accepted by those who are excluding us,

To belong again,

Because,

At least for a while,

We disconnect.

So,

We may do certain things,

Such as saying sorry for something that we didn't do,

Or staying in contact with those who hurt us,

Trying to please them in some way.

This happens not because we are crazy or dumb,

Or because we purposely want to damage ourselves,

But because we were thrown to such a dark place that we want to get out of there at all cost,

And sometimes we don't see any other way out but to be accepted by those who somehow excluded us.

Instinctively,

We search for the opposite reaction in those particular people as a way to fix the reality and make it function again,

Simply because harmony is our nature.

It is like a dog's owner abandoning their pet and the dog coming back home right after.

Is the dog searching for trouble and to be abandoned again?

No,

It is simply following their instinct,

What is familiar to them,

Their nature,

Which is all about pure love and inclusion.

Probably their innocence didn't even let him recognize his owner's true intentions towards him.

It can be hard to believe,

Right?

It may take a while,

And it may take courage and strength to step back and to accept how we feel in order to find the real door that leads us back to us,

To our inner happiness and peace,

To our connection to the universe.

This is always,

Always available to us,

We just sometimes don't see it,

Due to the dense and intense difficult experiences that we go through on Earth.

So today,

If you are experiencing bullying or you have experienced it in the past,

And somehow you feel lost,

Then close your eyes and breathe deeply.

Put your hands on your heart.

Can you feel it?

Everything is ok.

It is ok to feel sad or angry or frustrated.

It is ok to get carried away by your emotions.

It is ok to feel insecure,

Weak or regretful.

Because,

Guess what?

You are not those emotions.

You are not those experiences.

Now,

Go deeper.

Listen to your heart.

It says,

Look how far you've come.

Look how brilliant and beautiful you are as a human,

As a being,

As a soul.

Look how much Source loves you,

No matter what.

There is no need for you to change anything.

You are perfect,

Just as you are.

And you definitely have a place in this world.

A place in which you can feel safe and where all your dreams come true,

One by one.

A place in which the sun is always there for you.

A place where the rainbow is always bigger than the storm.

Now,

Slowly open your eyes and feel at peace within you.

Today is the perfect day to be gentle with ourselves and to understand that we don't have to achieve any kind of perfection in what comes to our actions and behaviors towards any external negativity.

Instead,

We dive into who we really are.

We give ourselves the time to breathe,

To heal and to recover from anything that seems impossible to overcome,

No matter how long it takes.

There is no such thing as wasting time when it comes to self-love and compassion.

We may experience several feelings,

But only pure love is real.

Only love can bring us back home,

Where all tears dissolve and transform into eternal smiles of bliss and joy.
