Today I'm going to take you on a grounding journey.
So settle in and find a comfortable position,
Whether it's sitting or laying down,
Whatever works for you.
And when you're ready.
Close your eyes.
Allow your hands to rest softly and let your shoulders relax.
There's nowhere to rush to.
For these next few moments,
Simply allow yourself to be here.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
Hold it gently.
And release it through your mouth with a long,
Easy sigh.
Again,
Breathe in,
Drawing in your calm.
And breathe out,
Releasing anything that no longer serves you.
One more time in.

.
And out.
Now allow your breathing to settle into its natural rhythm.
Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest.
Notice the steady rhythm of your heartbeat.
Notice the places where your body meets the chair,
The floor,
Or the bed beneath you.
Feel yourself being supported.
You do not have to hold yourself up.
The Earth has been doing that all along.
Now bring your awareness to the soles of your feet.
Imagine that with every slow breath,
Warmth begins to gather there.
A comforting golden warmth.
Safe.
Steady.
Alive.
As the warmth grows,
Imagine roots gently emerging from the bottoms of your feet.
Not forced,
Simply unfolding just as roots naturally seek the earth.
Watch them travel down through the floor beneath you.
Through soil rich with life,
Past stones and ancient bedrock.
Through cool underground streams,
Deeper still,
Until your roots reach the glowing heart of the earth.
As its center burns in ancient light,
Powerful,
Peaceful,
Endlessly stable.
Your roots wrap securely around this radial core.
You are connected.
Held together.
Anchored.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in,
And as you inhale,
Imagine the Earth's energy flowing upward through your roots.
Strong,
Calm,
Steady.
It rises up into your feet,
Your ankles,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Filling every muscle with quiet strength.
It flows into your abdomen,
Your chest,
Your shoulders,
Down your arms,
Into your hands,
Up through your neck,
Across your face and into the crown of your head.
Your entire body now glows with this warm grounding light.
Anything that feels heavy,
Stress,
Fear,
Self-doubt.
Imagine it gently flowing downward through your roots.
There's no struggle.
No resistance.
The Earth knows how to transform what no longer belongs to you.
With each breath,
We become lighter,
More balanced,
More present.
Now imagine yourself standing within a peaceful forest.
Towering trees surround you.
Their roots stretch deep beneath the ground,
Just as yours do.
They have stood through storms,
Changing seasons,
Strong winds,
And they still remain.
Take a moment to notice how they never rush.
They never question whether they belong.
They simply grow.
Allow yourself to receive the same quiet wisdom.
Now,
Repeat silently or aloud if you wish.
I am safe.
I am grounded.
I belong here.
I release what I cannot carry.
I welcome peace.
I trust the strength within me.
Rest here for a few quiet breaths.
Simply breathing.
Simply being.
There is nothing to fix.
Nothing to prove.
Just this one day,
And that connection to the Earth's nature.
Begin to notice your physical body once more.
Feel your fingers,
Your toes.
Notice the air against your skin,
The subtle sounds around you.
Take one final deep breath in and exhale slowly.
Imagine your roots gently remaining connected beneath you.
Even as you return to your day,
They stay with you,
Reminding you that grounding is never far away.
Carry this feeling of stability into whatever comes next.
And when you're ready.
Slowly open your eyes.
Welcome back.
