Today we're talking about growth takes time and the teaching is you're always on the path.
If you find yourself in a place where you're not changing as quickly as you think you should or as quickly as you'd like to,
Let this rest.
Your soul journey is infinite.
You have all the time you need to learn exactly what you are here to learn.
Trust you are divinely supported.
There is no time you're not expanding the universe.
Hopefully this will come as a very heartening teacher to those of you who tend to either be kind of impatient about soul growth or really too hard on yourselves.
You know,
Not only are we here for many lifetimes working on the same or this a similar batch of soul lessons,
But there's no problem with that.
We have all the time we need.
We really don't have to just,
You know,
Jam through it all in one lifetime.
And in fact,
It's impossible.
I sometimes meet people who say,
You know,
This is my last time around or I really feel that I'm such an old soul.
I've got nothing left more to learn or I hope I have nothing left more to learn.
And I would find that would be,
At least the people that I've met that have been saying these kinds of things,
I would find that to be incredibly unlikely that for most of us or even any of us that this is our last time around.
It feels like we can go around so many more times becoming more enlightened.
And just because we don't,
What you probably see in your life now is people that somewhat mirror you,
That you're coming into contact with people that in general are mirroring kind of where you are,
Maybe some a little less far on the path,
Some further on the path.
But in general,
We're sort of surrounded by those at the same vibrational level that we are at.
And so mostly we're as conscious people,
We're kind of moving forward,
Supporting each other,
But such a long way to go before we could be at this state of enlightenment that say,
I don't know,
Jesus or Buddha would be at,
For example,
Just common,
Acclaimed spiritual,
Spiritual masters,
Right,
That we would call that Jesus or the Buddha would be further advanced than the average human.
So even if we got there,
I would say that those beings or beings that are approaching those levels are probably still going to be having rebirth.
You know,
Frankly,
I don't know how it works.
But I would guess that when I look at most people,
And when I look at myself,
We have lots of lifetimes ahead,
Because we've got a long way to go.
And if you're like,
Well,
I'm really far along,
Okay.
And we can look at the world.
And we can say the world is really not that developed.
The world as collective soul,
The planet,
The humans on the planet,
A long way to go collectively.
So chances are good,
We're going to be coming back lifetime after lifetime to sort of assist and lift up and help as we can.
So understanding that growth takes time.
And especially for those super new to the spiritual path.
There's this exciting time at the beginning when everything is just so magical and so glorious.
And it's just miracle after miracle.
And it's really fun.
And it's really exciting.
And then you sort of ease into that as your reality for a while,
You get a little,
Little further down the path.
And that's when this sticky part of at the beginning,
It was like learning to drive,
It was such a thrill.
And then,
You know,
Coming down the path,
You've been driving a long time.
And you're wondering,
How can I drive better?
Or maybe I need a car or,
You know,
I need to drive on some new routes,
Whatever you're feeling.
This idea that growth takes time.
And sometimes it's easy to get disheartened and think,
Well,
I haven't made,
I haven't made as much progress this year as I did that first year when I was awakening,
Or I haven't made a lot of progress in my life now as compared to the leaps and bounds that I was experiencing earlier on my path.
One thing to remember is that the soul lessons get a lot more subtle,
The farther along you go,
They get a little bit harder to put into words,
They get a little bit harder to share with others,
They get really personal.
And so they are not as visible to the eye or they're not as palpable to you.
Just remember,
Here's the teaching,
If you find yourself in a place where you're not changing as quickly as you think you should,
Or as quickly as you'd like to,
Let this rest.
And part of this,
Sometimes we want to be,
Especially at the beginning,
We want to be kind of these spiritual stars or these spiritual overachievers and like,
Okay,
I'm going to meditate and I'm going to do a cleanse and I'm going to go to India and I'm going to do charity and I'm,
You know,
Okay.
And maybe after that passage comes through,
You're going to find yourself in a more normalized lifestyle,
Making the same leaps and bounds,
But because they're not big things,
They're really the subtle,
Smaller,
Personal things,
You might not notice how much change is actually taking place.
There is no time you're not expanding.
Again,
There is no time you're not expanding.
