Please close your eyes and allow yourself to get really,
Really cozy.
Tuck yourself into yourself.
Winter is upon us.
It's starting to get cold.
It's starting to get wet and grey outside.
And your soul is going to ache for some dopamine from the sun.
Your heart is going to long for warmth,
For light,
And for some clear blue skies.
And that's what Sunday Frequencies is for.
It's your free vacation,
A vacation from your life.
A vacation from all the chaos,
All the responsibilities,
All the fears,
And all the to-do lists.
This is your vacation from the outside world,
So you can fully reconnect to you.
So you can recharge your inner battery and spend some much-needed time inside yourself.
This is a vacation for your mind,
Your body,
Your heart,
And your soul.
And it's not going to cost you a thing.
Take some long,
Slow,
Deep breaths now.
Inhale,
Gathering any noise in your head,
And exhale it all out of you with long sighs.
Please do this a few times.
Long,
Slow,
Deep breaths gathering up what you don't need,
Using your exhale to release all of it.
And notice as you do this simple breathing technique that it starts to take you deeper and deeper inside of yourself.
Allowing the outside world to just completely slip away.
With every breath you sink deeper and deeper into the sanctuary of your own inner being.
And now I'd like you to imagine yourself lying comfortably on a sofa.
If you're already on a sofa,
That's great,
And if you're not,
It doesn't matter.
Just imagine that's where you are now.
Lying on the most comfortable sofa,
Stretched out and fully relaxed.
Feel how the sofa supports you.
Feel its fabric against your skin.
Feel the weight of your body sinking into it.
And then magically something begins to happen.
The energy of the sofa transforms underneath you.
Its energy and form recalibrating whilst you lay there completely relaxed.
And suddenly you realise the sofa has become an inflatable bed that's floating on a crystal clear pool.
All of a sudden you're outside,
Floating in the most exquisite place.
Look around you and take in your surroundings now.
Find yourself in a sunlit courtyard,
Floating in a pool that sits high above the sea on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
The view of the Mediterranean below you is unbelievable.
The air smells sweet from the lemon groves nearby,
And the temperature outside is perfect.
Organvillia spills in fuchsia cascades over whitewashed walls,
And terraced cliffs step down to beautiful turquoise sea.
It's late morning and the world is quiet in that lazy Sunday way.
The church bell rings in the far off distance,
And your water lounger floats on a pool so clear it looks like sky poured into it.
The water glimmers in soft ripples dappled with light,
And you lie back completely relaxing every single part of yourself.
You allow yourself to completely unwind,
To get off the hamster wheel so you can just breathe.
Just breathe.
You trail your fingers in the water,
You breathe in so deeply soaking all of it in,
And you sigh the most relaxing and delicious sigh.
The inflatable bed now glides effortlessly to the pool's edge.
It's easy to step down into the water and step out of the pool.
A soft white toweling robe awaits you.
And as you wrap it around yourself,
You feel the bliss of cool wet skin and soft sun warm fabric.
The perfect combination that makes you feel pure contentment.
And then something magical happens again.
The robe disappears as if it was never really there,
And you find yourself already dressed in the most perfect outfit for wandering the local Italian village.
You're wearing something effortlessly stylish and utterly comfortable.
It feels like the universe has dressed you itself,
Preparing you for even more paradise.
You follow a narrow path of worn stone to a set of stairs that float easily down the cliff.
Lemon trees arc over your head as you walk,
Forming magical portals that you continually step through.
Their scent is everywhere bright,
Invigorating and uplifting.
The stairs eventually open into a great piazza,
A beautiful village square surrounded by ancient Italian stone buildings.
An exquisite fountain sits at the center,
And you watch as the water threads and dances into the pool below that's full of coins and wishes.
Walk over to the fountain now and reach into your pocket and find one shiny gold coin waiting for you there.
Hold this coin in the palm of your hand and please make a wish.
The biggest wish you could possibly wish and know with 100% certainty that this wish will come true as you throw the coin into the water.
There's a little table waiting for you at the corner trattoria.
Nothing fancy,
Just a simple table with a red and white checkered tablecloth and a simple umbrella overhead shading you from the sun.
As you sit down,
The scent of basil and warm dough kisses your nostrils.
This little Italian restaurant is simple,
Unpretentious and absolutely perfect.
The waiter arrives with a basket of warm bread and a dish of local olive oil that gleams and smells delicious.
You tear a piece of the warm crusty bread and dip it into the oil.
It tastes of hills and trees and perfect summers.
The taste coats your tongue with a soft perfection and your shoulders ball another inch.
Your favourite drink arrives cold and refreshing and you drink it slowly.
Everything is simple and utterly divine as you close your eyes and soak all of it in even deeper.
Listen to the village square around you,
Cutlery tapping at plates like tiny bells,
Laughter singing from a nearby table.
You can even hear the sea from here.
It's a bliss of sounds that all blend together like a restorative symphony for your soul.
Notice how the light moves across the piazza,
How the shadows of balcony railings make lace on the cobbled stones.
Notice how relaxed you're feeling.
Sit back,
Let your hands rest in your lap and just take it all in.
And as you do a group of men with happy sun-weathered smiles sit down beside the fountain.
They carry a variety of musical instruments.
And now without a word exchanged,
Together they slowly begin to play music.
The kind of music that doesn't just fill the air but it fills your whole entire being.
Allow yourself to be here in this Italian piazza on the Amalfi Coast and let this group of musicians serenade you now just for the next few moments.
Capo all'insù a guardare verso il cielo e non mi riesce di trovare la luna.
Mi viene una gran voglia di chiamarla.
Luna!
Magari si affaccia?
Sarebbe bello,
No?
Continua,
Continua.
Now when you're ready I'd like you to wander down the stairs nearby that take you to the harbour.
Stroll down them slowly because everything inside you now is completely calm and unhurried.
At the bottom of the stairs,
The Mediterranean Sea stretches out in front of you,
Endless blue,
Shimmering as though the universe scattered diamonds across its surface.
Boats rock lazily in the water,
Nets hang over railings like dreamcatchers drying in the sun,
Everything feels soothing to your soul.
Walk over to the low cobbled wall beside the Mediterranean water,
Sit down on the wall and let your legs hang over the edge now.
And just look out at sea,
Watch how gently the waves roll in,
See how the sky is painted in perfect blue and fluffy bits of white.
And notice how the horizon gleams at you,
Patient,
Open,
Endless and full of potential.
You are fully recharged now,
You have been fully recalibrated,
Filled up in all the places where you were lacking.
So gently now when you're ready,
Return to the place where you started this journey,
Feel yourself reconnecting back to the outer world,
Feel yourself coming back to the here and now.
And take one more long,
Slow,
Delicious,
Deep breath here,
Let it fill every part of you and exhale slowly like you're sighing yourself into a beautiful week ahead.
And when you're ready,
Slowly and gently open your eyes.
