Sound Bath Sessions 318: Quentin Chow
Her studio is along Lockhart Road and conveniently reached from the Exhibition Centre MTR through the maze of bridges. She has been practicing sound baths for several years and first introduced to it by her reiki teacher. The room was small with a central air vent providing a bed of soft white noise. Her windows faced the busy street below with the deep rumbles and passing swells of double decker buses sounding like waves on a distant shore. The second session begins with a slow and dramatic entrance but keeps a lighter mood throughout the session. It has feelings of hope and rest. I feel she played with sound more in this session, experimenting with interesting combinations weaving together a colorful fabric of of sound. The final notes were such a wonderful experience.
