Happy 5th day of Lent,

My friends.

Today's meditation is one that kind of builds on yesterday's meditation,

In the sense that today,

We're going to be receiving the voice of God.

To begin,

I invite you to close your eyes,

Relax your body,

Adopt an attitude of gratitude and non-judgment,

And embrace a heart and mindset of peace and loving-kindness.

Once you're settled,

I invite you to position your hands in a receiving position,

Palms up,

Slightly cupped in front of you,

Either together or one on top of the other,

However it feels natural to hold a position that invokes a feeling of receiving,

And simply receive what Yahweh has for you.

Perhaps there is something God is saying to you,

If so,

Be still and listen.

This is a time to simply listen,

To simply receive.

This is a time to simply be in the presence of the Divine,

To simply be.

This is a time to receive the Word of God,

The voice of Yahweh.

This,

This is a time to receive the Sword of the Spirit,

Which is the Word of God.

The Spirit of the Divine is the power by which we break free of all that we have chosen to break free from this Lent season.

The Spirit is the Word of God,

The Sword of the Spirit.

Receive the Word,

Receive the Spirit,

Receive the Sword,

Receive the power to conquer and break free.

Thank you for meditating with me today,

My friends.

I invite you to resume in natural hand position and carry the Sword of the Spirit with you throughout your day.

May grace and peace,

Light and love be with you.

I loved the primary message of this meditation to be open to receive God's words and guidance. I especially appreciated the physical practice to put out hands in a position of receiving.

Lovely and calming. Wish there had been more quiet time for the listening
