Welcome to the vocal inventory meditation.
I'm Laura Rose with The Vocal Sanctuary,
And it is an honor to meet you here in this space.
Throughout this 12-minute meditation,
You will have the opportunity to self-assess the six areas of your inner and outer voice.
This meditation is designed to be an inquiry,
And so I'll be asking you a series of questions as they relate to each area of the voice.
And before we dive in,
Just a word of preparation,
Because it is very possible that you leave this meditation with more questions than you have answers.
And so I invite you to have a notebook nearby,
And take a few moments to journal after this experience.
Let's begin with a deep centering breath.
Inhale into the belly,
And open mouth exhale.
In a moment here,
We'll begin to take a look at the first area of the vocal inventory.
These first three areas have to do with your receptive voice.
How well are you listening to your inner world?
And with your body,
What does it feel like to be in your body today?
Take a scan,
Paying attention to any sensation that arises.
Noticing any places of tension and tightness.
Parts of the body that are talking to you have something to say.
Noticing areas of the body that feel relaxed,
And feel what are the ways your body communicates with you.
Another few breaths to listen.
Lastly,
Asking the body,
Any information here for you now,
Related to your physical vitality and well-being?
The voice of your intuition.
Get in tune with our sensory communication.
Begin to sharpen our psychic.
The beauty is we all have access to these psychic gifts because of a psyche.
It said that the voice of your intuition whisper.
Quiet moment to yourself.
Messages here for me.
Clear,
Do you feel about your next steps?
Is there any guidance here for you now?
Moving now to the third area of your receptive voice.
Your soul.
Your soul has a built-in compass for transformation and growth.
You in the direction of what you get to experience here on the planet,
In this human body.
How connected do you feel to the voice of your soul?
Need to experience this year.
Is,
Are you living your purpose?
You are on this journey of discovering,
What am I here to contribute in this time to connect with your soul?
Listening for any messages.
Now let's focus on the next three areas of the vocal inventory.
Take a look at your expressive voice and how you share your inner world with others.
The first area is your creative voice.
Your sense of self-expression.
Tuning in how connected do you feel to your creative life force?
Perhaps you are bubbling with ideas faster than you can act upon.
Maybe your creativity feels a little rusty,
Even foreign.
Noticing,
When we tune in with the voice of creativity,
How are you expressing yourself currently?
Perhaps your soul and your creativity share a dialogue.
Here to,
Moving to the area of relationships.
Your voice in your relationships,
Your inner circle,
Close to you,
Who you like.
Taking an inventory,
How does it currently feel expressing your needs,
Your desires,
Expressing your leadership and your intimate life?
What is it like to express yourself in relationships?
Finally,
To express your voice to your larger commuter circles of your network,
Your sphere of influence.
How does it currently feel to share your heart with your community on ideas and causes that you are passionate about,
Feeling really comfortable speaking up to yourself?
In a few moments to notice anything that arises.
Sharing your voice and your gifts with your wider community.
Feeling all of this.
Open mouth,
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Information have you collected throughout this vocal inventory?
Close this meditation with a set of affirmations.
And if it resonates with you,
Please repeat after me.
My voice is mine.
It is safe to express my full range of experience.
My voice is a powerful conduit of energy.
Choose to wield it for the greater good and benefit of all.
