Communication comes in so many forms.
Verbal communication is often our default form of communication.
But without tone of voice,
Without our body language,
Without our energy and emotion behind those words,
They mean very little.
I read a quote from the philosopher Albert Hubbard,
Who said,
He who does not understand your silence will probably not understand your words.
Because there's so much more to communication than just what we say.
It's how we say it.
The amount of eye contact and the body language that goes along with the words often says more than the words themselves.
So when we sit in silence,
Especially in a room with someone else,
There's still an opportunity to communicate.
If you've ever tried to communicate with someone who speaks another language,
Eventually you were able to communicate what you wanted to say.
And it might not have been with words,
But certainly communicated with energy.
Because energy is the fundamental line of communication,
The best way to connect,
Through emotion,
Through eye contact,
Through body language.
So the words don't mean quite so much.
Because he who does not understand your silence will probably not understand your words.
So try to communicate more effectively,
Using all lines of communication,
So that your message is well received,
Allowing the person to understand how you really feel.
Blessings,
Blessings,
Blessings.
