This is Sacred Soul Sips,
A place to savor the truth of who we are,
One divine sip at a time.
These sips are short but potent,
Five to ten minutes of wisdom medicine,
Enough to carry you through a moment,
A day,
Or maybe even a lifetime.
My intention is simple,
And that is to remind you that you are already whole,
Already light,
And already here in the fullness and the unfolding of your divine life.
Today's sip is,
They will see their light when you reveal yours.
Your light is sacred,
It's holy,
It's divine,
And when you reveal it,
It awakens the divine light in others.
And so this sip is a gentle call to shine so that others can remember their own brilliance.
Sit back,
Breathe softness into your heart,
And take this sip,
A sacred invitation to pause.
Take what you need,
Savor,
And be nourished.
I was thinking about my son today,
As I do every day,
My youngest,
My baby.
I was thinking about his voice,
He has such a beautiful voice.
I was also thinking about his spirit,
He's so innocent,
So creative,
But right now he's in college,
He's working part-time,
Arriving into adulthood.
Life is lifened for that young man,
And I don't always see that spark lit up in him,
But I know it's there.
And,
You know,
I keep inviting him,
Try this,
Explore this,
What about this?
Hoping to awaken that creative spark.
And then I heard it,
As clear as day,
That he will see his light when you fully reveal yours.
And wow,
Did that land,
Because the same thing I'm asking of him,
Isn't that what my highest self is asking of me?
Have I revealed my light?
Have I let my own radiant,
Creative energy wake up and shine?
Have I fully expressed my divine light out into the world?
And in that moment,
I realized that my light isn't just for me.
It's a lighthouse,
A soft glow,
Not a blinding high beam,
Ooh,
Look at me,
But instead a steady,
Warm lantern that signals to others it's safe to shine.
This is the magic and becomes the moment of embodiment.
When we reveal our light,
We don't have to preach or push or force,
We simply shine.
And those watching,
Waiting,
Wondering,
They begin to remember their own glow.
So close your eyes,
If you're able to,
If you're comfortable to do so.
And picture a soft light right inside your chest,
Inside your heart space.
You pick the color of your light,
It's your light.
But imagine it warming,
Expanding,
Flickering out through your skin like golden threads.
And whisper softly to yourself,
My light awakens light.
My glow ignites glow.
My fire sparks fire.
And then smile,
Because I am,
Literally smile,
And just feel how your face softens.
Feel that light,
You may even giggle,
As I do sometimes,
As I am now.
That's your light peeking out,
First from you,
For you,
And then for others.
And this is your sacred soul sip for today.
Shine.
Shine bright,
Not to perform,
But to remind.
Reveal your light,
So that others may find their own.
Sip on this truth,
And let it carry you through.
