So find a place to settle in,
A moment where you can relax uninterrupted.
This is your time.
Not all growth is visible.
Winter reminds us that God often works in silence,
Beneath the surface,
Where no one else can see.
Stillness is not stagnation.
It is sacred formation.
If you feel hidden or unseen right now,
Trust that God is tending something precious within you.
Be still.
God is near.
Let's take a few moments to sit in the Lord's nearness,
Resting in Psalm 4610.
Be still and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations.
I will be exalted in the earth.
Sit quietly with your feet on the floor.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale slowly.
And repeat quietly in your mind.
