And welcome to another guided breathwork journey.
Today,
We're doing four rounds of powerful breathing using two techniques to help maximise cognitive function and leave you feeling revitalised for the day ahead.
The first technique is supraventilation,
In through the nose and out the mouth.
Deep inhale,
Filling up the belly,
Pulling it up into the chest with a relaxed exhale out.
Then doubling the speed.
The second technique is shamanic breathing.
Two part inhale through the nose or mouth and one relaxed exhale through the mouth.
The first breath into the belly,
Second into the chest and a relaxed exhale out the mouth.
Then doubling the speed.
Each round will be separated with an exhale breath retention.
Getting as comfortable as possible,
Laying down flat or sitting up tall and elongating the spine.
Just arriving into your space and your body,
Closing down the eyes,
Breathing out empty.
Let's begin in three,
Two,
One.
Recovery breath in three,
Two,
One.
Hold and squeeze the body.
Last breath at this tempo,
Take a deep breath in,
Holding here for 60 seconds.
Take a recovery breath in three,
Two,
One.
Hold here and squeeze the body.
Release it.
Round three,
Shamanic breathing.
In,
In.
Take a deep breath in,
Let it go,
Hold here for one minute,
15 seconds.
Hold and squeeze the body.
Four,
Combining it all together,
Shamanic breathing.
Into the belly,
Into the chest,
Release it.
Double the speed.
Breath for the round,
Moving into super ventilation.
Deep breath in,
Relax breath out.
Breath in three,
Two,
One.
Hold here and squeeze the body.
Taking a small sip through the nose,
Letting it out with an open sigh.
Returning to your natural flow of breathing,
In and out.
Out through the nose.
Bringing a renewed sense of gratitude and a smile to your face.
Moving the body slowly or just staying here for a few moments.
