Simon Sinek said it best,
Start with why.
There was a time when we talked about the 9 to 5 as the rat race,
But now it seems like the rat race has shifted towards the social media highlight reel.
It's so easy these days to get caught up and forget why you're here in the first place.
When you connect with that why,
Then you begin to share from a place that feels natural and authentic to you.
It is not forced.
It comes with ease.
With anything in life,
There's going to be that feeling of,
I should do this.
And if you pay attention,
You'll notice yourself trying to force it.
There's also going to be that feeling of,
I want to do this,
But I'm scared or not ready.
And if you pay attention,
You'll notice yourself trying to suppress it.
The latter is when you know it's time.
It may not feel comfortable,
But there is immense growth waiting for you on the other side.
There is an abundance of information these days with helpful tips and hacks for making the most of your life.
The list goes on and on,
And to be honest,
It can be quite paralyzing.
So instead,
I leave you with this.
It's 2025.
Do you.
Everything else will fall into place.
There is,
However,
One minor nuance to this advice.
In order to do you,
You must get to know you.
Spend time with you in silence and in conversation,
And listen intently to the desires that arise from the depths of your soul.
Here are a few question prompts to get the conversation started.
What are you scared to do?
What have you been procrastinating on?
What are you waiting for?
What is your biggest stretch goal?
Who are you becoming?
As you reflect on these questions,
Remember there are no right or wrong answers.
The answers are information that can guide you to the next best step for you in this moment.
As you contemplate these questions daily or weekly,
You may begin to hear your desires louder than you have before,
Without all the background noise of your fears.
When this happens,
Do one simple step towards that desire to carve your path forward.
Before you know it,
You will be living the life of who you are becoming.
Don't just take my word for it.
Try it out for yourself and report back.
Thank you for being here to share your practice and your energy.
Namaste.
Namaste.
