Thank you so much for joining me today.
Today we're going to walk through this meditation that will really help us connect with the universe.
I really believe in the power of healing to shape humanity.
And when we take this time for ourselves like we're doing right now today,
We're really allowing for us to be with what comes up.
And when we do that,
We organically start to heal.
And when we can heal ourselves,
We start acting from places of love.
And when we act from places of love,
We can start healing each other and create a difference in our world.
And we do that by making sure that we can connect with ourselves,
Connect with each other,
And then connect to our world.
So what we're going to do to start going to get you just to sit back,
Legs crossed,
Whatever position is comfortable for you.
Take a moment just to slowly orient yourself a little bit,
Get used to the space.
Look around.
Very slowly,
We're going to gently close our eyes.
And just take a moment just to be.
Very slowly find the breath and just let it fall into its natural breathing rhythm.
Now,
With our eyes closed,
Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale through the mouth.
Again,
We're just finding that gentle rhythm,
Slowing down the heart and just relaxing.
Let's take another deep breath in.
Slowly exhale,
Feeling that breath just travel lightly through the body.
Let it smooth any areas of tension.
I want you to sit in this stillness.
And I want you to take a moment and just feel the universe.
Feel the air molecules dancing on your skin.
Feel it holding up your back like you're suspended in air.
Be grateful for these tiny little molecules that just hold us together,
Hold us together for ourselves and connect us to each other and our world.
Now this time I want you to take another deep breath in.
Breathe in that universe.
Breathe in these molecules.
And again,
Exhale,
Letting that air travel through the body.
This is our universe.
It is here for you.
Once again,
One more breath in.
And exhale,
Letting that breath travel through the body.
Let it invigorate you.
This time when you inhale,
I want you to focus on what does the universe smell like to you today?
Perhaps you're outside and you can smell the smell of the grass,
The trees.
And exhale and it feels comfortable for you.
Let's take one more breath in.
Maybe you're in your bedroom.
Maybe you've just washed your seats.
Maybe the universe today smells like your lovely fresh linen.
And let's exhale again.
This is you inviting the universe into the body.
And this time when we inhale,
I want you to ask yourself,
What does the universe taste like today?
Maybe it's the taste of your mint toothpaste.
And exhale.
One more time in.
And exhale.
This time when we inhale,
Again we're going to focus on really connecting with the universe.
This time I want you to focus on the colors behind your eyelids.
Maybe it's black.
Maybe it's turning into different colors now.
And let's exhale.
Really focusing on just our connection with the world.
One more time in.
Focusing on what's behind the eyelids.
And out again.
Now we're going to inhale.
And I want you to think about what do you hear right now?
Birds chirping.
Maybe your dog or your partner laying next to you.
Exhale one more time.
Now when we inhale,
I want you to focus on what the feeling feels like of the air molecules on your ears and your eardrums.
How does it feel?
Are you wearing earbuds or earphones?
Can you feel them going through them right into your ears?
In between the space between your ear and your headphones,
Do you feel the universe seeping in?
And exhale steady.
Breathe in again,
Focusing on the feeling of the air in your ears.
And very slowly I want you to just find the sound behind all of that.
Sink into the universe and find that quietness,
That stillness.
There's this layer I always feel behind the universe where you can just be.
That is the quietness.
That is the stillness.
That is the place where you can lie in the universe's embrace,
Connected to the webs of gravity that hold all of us together and to each other.
I want you to breathe in and just take that in.
And breathe out again.
I want you to lie in this space in your own time,
In your own breathing and enjoy that.
Enjoy that presence.
Enjoy what the universe has to offer you in this quiet little layer where everything else is still doing its thing around you for the next few minutes.
I want you to just relax here in peace.
Just enjoy the universe.
And now on these last few breaths,
I really want you to feel that connection to gravity to those webs.
This is exactly what holds us in place,
What roots us,
What keeps us grounded.
I want you to feel those webs.
Those are the arms of the universe.
Let them embrace you.
The universe is here for you.
One more breath in,
Please.
And remember,
The universe is you and you are the universe.
Thank you so much for listening.
And may you stay with this feeling,
With this peace as you go on through the rest of the day today.
When you remember your connection to the universe,
Our connection to ourself only strengthens.
And it empowers us to connect with each other in the most authentic of ways.
