It's easy to shrink,
To edit yourself,
To make your edges softer so you don't disrupt the world around you,
But you are never meant to fit inside someone else's comfort zone.
You are whole,
Worthy,
And enough,
Exactly as you are.
This meditation is a reminder to embrace every part of yourself,
Your light,
Your shadows,
And your voice.
No one else's opinion should carry more weight than your own.
Let's take a breath together and return to the fullness of who you are.
Let's find a comfortable seat or lie down.
Close your eyes and let your shoulders soften,
Your jaw relax,
And take a deep breath in and slowly release.
Fully exhale and let the body soften.
Breathe in,
Expanding into your full presence.
Breathe out,
Releasing any pressure to be smaller than you are.
Now imagine all the times you've felt the need to shrink,
Whether to keep the peace,
Avoid judgment,
Or to fit an expectation.
See those moments in your mind's eye,
But don't hold onto them.
Simply observe them like waves crashing on the ocean shore.
Now hear this truth.
You were never meant to be small.
You are allowed to take up space.
You are allowed to be seen,
To be heard,
To be bold.
No one else gets to define you.
No one else's comfort should come at the cost of your authenticity.
Breathe that in.
Feel it settle in your bones.
Now as you exhale,
Imagine shedding the weight of others' opinions,
All of the ones that don't belong to you.
Let them completely melt away.
Now place one hand over your heart and feel its steady rhythm,
Its quiet knowing.
This is your voice,
And this is your truth.
No one else's voice should be louder than your own.
Take a deep breath in,
Filling your entire being with self-acceptance and love.
And as you breathe out,
Allow yourself to fully expand without any hesitation or without an apology.
You are whole.
You are worthy.
You are enough,
Exactly as you are.
Now take one more deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Gently bring your awareness back to the room.
Begin to move your fingers and your toes,
Feeling your body in the space,
Staying here for as long as you'd like.
Open your eyes.
Welcome home.
Welcome home.
