Hello and welcome beautiful Insight Timer community.
Today we are on week 13 of our year of journaling.
So I pulled a card from our Cosmic Journey Oracle by Yanique Silver and I got number 21,
Polish Your Mirror for Perfect Clarity.
So I opened up the book and here's what he has to say about this card.
Everything you see around you is a perfect reflection of where you are on your path.
Yes,
Everything.
Our material universe is designed to be a symbolic likeness of what is created on a spiritual plane.
Your relationships are a way to see into this mirror.
Think of the relationships you cherish and characteristics you adore in certain people,
Such as your heroes and mentors.
The good news is that these same aspects are in you as your golden shadow.
The reverse of this is also true.
The most difficult aspects of certain people are the aspects of yourself that you haven't embraced or seen fully.
This card calls for you to become more honest,
For your actions and words to always reflect your true self.
By doing so,
You become more of a clear mirror and your relationships will reflect even more peace,
Joy and contentment.
Remember as well that relationships are not just with other people.
They are with food,
Money,
Alcohol,
Work,
Etc.
And his question for this journaling prompt is,
In what ways am I pleased with what my mirror is reflecting in my life?
And in what ways am I seeing turmoil,
Frustration and chaos?
Wow,
What a great prompt.
I had a couple of odd experiences,
I guess we should call them,
With people recently that left me,
I don't know,
Speechless,
I guess.
Just sometimes people can be so,
I guess,
Blunt and not really thinking about how their words impact other people.
So now I'm wondering,
Was that for me to think about ways I've been that way?
It's possible.
I try not to.
I try to be considerate in how I deal with other people and thoughtful in how I speak to them.
But let's get real.
At one point or another,
We all slip up.
So maybe those experiences were a reflection for me to think about.
And I also thought maybe those experiences were teaching me how to say no.
Because in both cases,
I felt like the other person was putting me in a position where I had the opportunity to say no.
No,
I don't accept this.
No,
I won't tolerate this.
No,
I'm setting boundaries.
So there's another way of looking at it.
As for the part where people in your relationships that you admire reflect something back that you have already,
I love that.
Because I can think of a lot of qualities I love in other people.
And to think that I,
Too,
Possess those qualities that I love in them?
Who doesn't love that?
All right,
Friends.
So let's put some time on the clock.
Let's listen to Blossom's inspiring,
Beautiful piano music.
And let's ponder on this question.
In what ways am I pleased with what my mirror is reflecting in my life?
And in what ways am I seeing turmoil,
Frustration,
And chaos?
Let's get to writing.
All right,
My friends.
I hope you got a lot of great thoughts out on your journal this week.
And by the way,
I do love number 13,
Seeing that we're on week 13.
Because it makes me think there was a time where we were all so scared of the number 13.
It didn't have great connotations.
I don't feel that way anymore.
I feel like 13 is a good number.
It's a great week.
I've learned a lot this week.
And I am so grateful for those lessons,
No matter how hard they may have seemed at the time.
So I hope that you're feeling the same way.
And I look forward to hearing what you took from week 13.
And I look forward to seeing you next week for week 14 of our year of journaling.
Until then,
I hope you're having an amazing day.
And I hope you're having an amazing week.
And if you're not,
Keep polishing that mirror.
