I invite you to prepare for meditation,
Whatever that looks like for you,
Wherever you are right now.
Gently closing the eyes down,
Feeling your feet and sit bones connect to the surface beneath you.
Let's take some cleansing breaths,
Settling the mind and the body.
Imagine you're following the breath as though you're trying to catch a butterfly,
Just trailing behind it,
Not able to grasp it.
Bring your awareness into your heart space.
Take a few breaths here.
Feel the expansion and contraction in your heart without judging,
Just let it be.
Truly accepting this moment,
The condition of your mind and body.
I want you to imagine your heart is like fertile ground,
Rich black dirt.
I want you to imagine you're taking your hands and you're creating a little hole in the ground,
Loosening up the soil,
Feeling the coolness,
Dampness in your fingers and hands.
Feel the grit on your hands and fingers.
Now I want you to take a seed.
I want that seed to be something you're grateful for,
Just one thing.
Just holding that seed in your hand.
The seed is absorbing your warmth and heat,
Intention,
And placing your hands together,
Squeezing gently,
Just infusing this gratitude into the seed.
Thank you divine energy for helping me plant this seed of gratitude in the fertile ground of my heart.
Now imagine you're taking that seed and you're placing it in the black soil and you're gently covering it up and you take some water and you pour it on top carefully so it doesn't flow away with the excess water.
Just sprinkling it gently,
Respectfully,
Sprinkling a little fertilizer on top,
Sending some love,
Prayers for the ability for this seed to sprout.
Our intentions and seeds that we plant,
Once they're in the ground,
We just let the universe work out the details.
The amount of sun,
The amount of rain,
The wind.
We just allow and trust that the universe will take care of all the details.
Now place your left hand on your heart,
Right hand over the top.
Really seal it in,
This one thing you're grateful for.
Now imagine you're just releasing this.
Relax your hands on your lap,
Palms up,
Just let it go.
And let's use our primordial sound mantra now.
If you don't have one,
You can use So Hum.
So Hum.
So Hum.
Inhale So.
Exhale Hum.
I'll watch the time and call you back with the sound of the bell.
Continue with your eyes closed and gently release your mantra.
Continue to rest easily.
And now bring your hands in prayer pose.
Connect to your heart center.
May the seed of gratitude fill you with joy and peace.
Namaste.
Gently bring your hands together in prayer pose.
Connect to your heart.
May the seed of gratitude create a ripple effect of love and light around you.
May this be a tool to help you shift into higher states of consciousness.
May this elevate you so that you can be your true authentic self and to share this with the rest of the world.
Namaste.
