In this solo cast episode,
I will talk about the role of the heart chakra in our system,
What blocks the heart,
And I'll give you some prompts for you to reflect today on what actions you may need to take in order to open your heart.
Alright,
Let's talk about the heart chakra and what blocks the heart.
So the heart chakra is located in your chest where the actual organ is,
And it's related to love,
Compassion,
Empathy,
Acceptance.
Most importantly,
It's related to nurturing all of these qualities within so that you can love and have compassion for everyone else and all there is.
When it comes to the chakra system,
The heart is right in the middle of the seven main chakras,
Bridging the three lower chakras,
The root,
The sacrum and the solar plexus,
And the upper chakras,
The throat,
The third eye,
And the crown.
An open heart is the portal to activating these upper chakras and have a deeper spiritual connection without losing the human aspects of yourself.
The heart chakra is also connected to the 5D level of consciousness,
So again,
A bridge between the lower dimensions and the higher realms.
And also,
It is the portal to higher levels of consciousness,
5D,
6D,
7D,
And beyond.
So to discover how we can open the heart,
We need to look at what blocks the heart.
In a nutshell,
What blocks the heart are unfelt emotions.
Now I'll go a little bit deeper on this by giving you the three UNs that block the heart.
The first is unresolved grief.
Now grief is a big topic,
But basically grief has to do with the loss of a loved one,
The loss of a dream,
A health condition,
You name it.
It's related to some kind of loss.
And we all know that grief is messy and it's a messy process.
Some people would argue that we never get over it.
So in that sense,
The idea of having a resolved grief wouldn't fit.
But I want to explain what I mean by giving you an analogy.
Imagine grief as a sink and in it there is a pool of water where you put all of the emotions that come from grief.
Sadness,
Anger,
Non-acceptance,
Regret,
Frustration,
Guilt.
And let's remember something.
I always say this.
Emotion is energy in motion.
It needs to move.
Now imagine having the drain hole in that sink locked.
So all of those emotions will be floating in that sink.
And they will be overflowing in the future.
So unplugging that drain hole will allow those emotions to move.
Doesn't mean that they will go away forever,
But it does mean that they will keep moving and flowing through with more ease.
That represents you allowing yourself to feel all of these emotions and going through all of these stages over and over with more and more acceptance.
And this is what I mean by resolved.
You are okay with feeling those emotions and the more that you feel,
The more that you heal.
The second un is unforgiveness.
Now the topic of forgiveness again is also a big one,
But the analogy of the sink applies here too.
Instead of a sink,
I'll give you a bathtub.
And you're in it.
So in this analogy,
Unforgiveness means you are bathing in a pool of grudges,
Hatred,
Loathing.
And often times we think that we need to forgive someone else,
But in reality,
Forgiveness is only complete when it's self-forgiveness.
From a 5D perspective,
We are all one.
We are all sharing the one consciousness.
And we are all beings from the same creator.
So when you can't forgive others,
This means you can't forgive yourself.
If you're hating your parents or your ex,
That means you're hating yourself and the whole universe.
But let's say you have forgiven others,
You wish them well,
And you're okay.
Something that may happen in actually both the grief and forgiveness process is feeling guilt and shame.
Sometimes the hardest thing is to forgive ourselves.
Guilt and shame are the two things that keep your heart blocked.
And will keep you in that loop of feeling unworthy of love.
Which takes me to the next un-unworthiness.
Unworthiness is totally related to lack of self-love,
Self-acceptance,
And many times disguised as perfectionism or over or under achievement.
But essentially,
It's just an overall feeling of I'm not enough.
This feeling can stem from past failures,
Past traumas,
Years of social conditioning,
And a collection of limiting beliefs.
And since the heart is all about self-love and self-compassion,
If you don't think you're worthy of love,
You're just shutting your heart more and more.
But in reality,
The heart is not asking for your idea of perfect self-love.
It is asking for you to love all parts of yourself,
Even that one that says you're not enough.
Again,
From 5D perspective,
You are love and there's nothing you have to do to earn it.
You just really need to open your heart and activate this pure energy inside of you.
So now that we've looked at the three un's and we understand what blocks the heart,
I'll give you the three steps and a few reflection prompts for you to reflect on your journey.
Feel free to pause and get a journal if you like writing your feelings out.
Step one is acknowledgement.
Acknowledge where you are without judgment or self-bitty.
Self-awareness is the first and the biggest step into a conscious and healthy healing journey.
If you can't acknowledge where you are now,
How can you move forward?
Or whether,
How can you know where you want to be in terms of your emotional health?
So ask yourself,
Am I anywhere in any of those three un's?
Step two is to get past that victim mindset.
I personally believe that it's okay to have victim mindset thoughts for a little while when you're feeling your emotions without judgment.
And that's a key part of the process to heal and open your heart.
But if you're just feeling your emotions and telling yourself that you are a victim of the circumstances in your life and situations,
This cycle will just perpetuate.
You need to want to heal and to want to open your heart.
So ask yourself,
Do I want to remain with the heart closed?
If the answer is no,
Which I hope it is,
Then you need to take action.
Take responsibility for your healing journey and take a step forward,
Which takes me to the next step,
The healing journey.
And as the word suggests,
It is a journey.
It's not an overnight cure or a pill that you take to feel momentarily better.
It demands courage,
Practice,
Patience,
And it's going to be messy.
But if you never take that first step,
You will remain stuck in those un's.
There are many healing modalities,
Meditation,
Breath work,
Sound healing,
Energy healing,
And I'm always talking about them here because they have worked and still do work for me personally,
My journey.
And so the question you should be asking yourself is what is the root or the root that I want to take?
Be curious and experiment again with a sense of curiosity more than a sense of I'm broken and I need to be healed.
You are not broken.
The healing journey is a journey into the remembrance of who you truly are.
You're just peeling off the layers that have been preventing you from accessing the light and love that you are in your essence.
Also,
If you've tried some modalities in the past and didn't resonate with them,
Ask yourself why haven't I resonated with it?
Can I try again with a more open and curious mind from a place of non-attachment and not expecting?
Are there any other modalities that I could try it out?
And the key here is to remember that the heart has to do with feeling your emotions and anchoring yourself in your heart center,
Which means you will be feeling emotions because that is a natural part of being a human.
And without this,
You're not a human.
There is no motion.
There is no growth.
There is no evolution.
But you will always be anchored in your heart.
Imagine yourself going through a hurricane or a storm,
But feeling safe to go through it because you're anchored in your heart.
And another thing that it's important to remember is that the more tools you have in your healing kit,
The more you will know your way back into your heart center.
