Moonlit Lake and Campfire Renewal.

Find a comfortable position,

Either lying down or seated,

Just in a way that your body feels fully supported.

Close your eyes.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and a long,

Soft exhale through your mouth.

Deep breath.

Repeat that a few times.

Let your shoulders drop down from your ears.

Let your jaw relax.

Let the muscles around your eyes soften.

With each breath,

Allow your body to grow heavier,

Your mind quieter,

And your heart more open.

Imagine you are walking along a quiet path lit only by soft starlight.

Ahead,

A warm glow spills out from a cozy lake house with large windows.

You step inside,

Feeling the gentle scent of cedar and fresh lake air wrap around you.

The wooden floors creak softly beneath your feet,

And through the wide windows,

The still,

Dark lake stretches endlessly under a big,

Glowing,

Full moon.

You slide open the glass door and step out onto a wide,

Wooden deck.

The cool night air brushes against your skin,

Carrying the scent of pine and water.

To your right,

A campfire crackles softly,

Its golden light dancing across the deck.

But tonight,

The lake calls to you.

You walk down the short path to the shoreline past the campfire and toward the moonlight shimmering across the gentle ripples.

The water is calm,

Smooth as glass,

And the reflection of the moon seems to create a silver pathway just for you.

You step into the lake slowly,

Feeling the cool,

Inviting water rise to your knees,

Then your waist,

And your chest,

Until you begin to float and swim.

Each stroke feels effortless,

The lake holding you gently.

Slowly,

You look up,

The full moon glowing above,

Surrounded by a sea of stars.

You take a deep,

Steady breath in,

Gently slip beneath the surface.

Under the water,

Everything is silent.

Still,

Time feels suspended.

Here,

A wave of pure,

Renewing energy flows through you.

It clears away heaviness,

Stress,

And lingering doubt.

You feel lighter,

Brighter,

Whole,

Relaxed.

When you rise back to the surface,

It feels as though the moon has blessed you with its light.

You swim back to shore,

Stepping into the cool night.

A soft towel waits for you,

Wrapping you in warmth.

You walk to the campfire and sit very close,

Feeling the heat dry in your skin.

You hear a horn in the distance.

Who could be here?

As you gaze into the flames,

And into your heart,

You ask the campfire for help with your life tasks.

For guidance.

For strength.

For focus.

The fire grows steadily in response,

Whispering that everything can be done,

One ember,

One flame,

One step at a time.

You settle into a comfortable lounge chair beside the fire.

You wait here.

You pause.

You reflect.

You've come so far.

You've done so great.

You are amazing.

Above you,

The stars stretch endlessly,

The moon still keeping watch.

Crickets sing in the distance.

The lake gently laps at the shore.

The fire pops softly beside you.

Here you are one with the earth,

The water,

The fire,

And the sky.

Breathe it in.

Breathe it in deep,

And let yourself rest deeply.

Carry this renewal into every part of your being.
