Welcome back,
Dear one.
Let's settle in and create this space of gentleness together.
I invite you to begin by finding your way into comfort,
Whatever that looks like for you in this moment.
Just finding a comfortable position for your body,
Allowing yourself to be completely supported,
Settling in.
Let's begin by noticing your breath,
This faithful companion that has been with you through every chapter of your life,
Every season,
Every transition,
Every moment,
Right up to this very one.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Feel the natural flow of your breathing.
In and out,
No effort required,
Simply witnessing this rhythm that has carried you through all that has been.
In and out.
Begin to tune into your body,
Starting with your feet.
These feet which carry you through each of your days.
Tuning in,
Slowing down,
Allowing your feet to completely relax,
Softening.
Moving gently up through your legs,
Loosening,
Relaxing.
And your hips,
Releasing any holding you might be carrying there.
Your belly,
Soft and easy,
Letting go.
Your chest,
Open and spacious with each breath.
Your shoulders,
Dropping away from your ears,
And your arms,
Loose and comfortable.
Breathing in and breathing out.
In and out.
Tune into your face,
Allowing yourself to soften around your eyes,
Your jaw,
Releasing.
Your forehead,
Letting go of any tension,
Relaxed,
Calm and peaceful.
For right here,
For right now,
There is nowhere else to be,
Nothing else to do,
Just here,
Just this moment.
In this moment,
I invite you to place both hands gently over your heart.
Feel that steady,
Faithful rhythm.
That same heart that is loved deeply,
That has experienced joy and loss,
And that has carried you through every experience that brought you here,
To this moment.
Today,
We honor what was,
Not to stay there,
But simply to acknowledge the fullness of your journey.
To recognize the gifts that even difficult experiences have brought to you.
These gifts are there to be found.
Take a moment to breathe appreciation for the person you were in partnership,
For the love you gave in whatever way you gave it,
And for the ways in which you grew,
For the parts of yourself that you discovered through relationship and are still discovering on the other side of relationship.
Breathing in your deepest knowing,
And breathing out gratitude.
Notice what arises within your body as you offer this gratitude.
Perhaps there's a softening,
A warmth,
Or simply a sense of acknowledgement.
As you continue breathing gently,
I invite you to honor any lessons that this transition has brought to you.
Maybe it is the strength that you didn't know you had,
Or the resilience that emerged when you needed it most,
Or the wisdom that can only come through lived experience.
Ask yourself,
What gift has this transition given me?
What is being offered that I want to carry forward?
Receive whatever comes forward without judgment,
Just a gentle awareness.
Perhaps it's self-reliance,
Or clarity about what truly matters,
Or a deeper capacity for compassion.
Whatever emerges is yours to treasure,
To keep.
Feel this gift settling into the space of your heart,
Becoming part of who you are now,
A strength that belongs to you.
As you continue breathing,
I invite you to imagine yourself standing in a beautiful garden,
Whatever that means to you.
See whatever forms surround you,
Their colors,
Their shapes.
Feel the air on your skin,
The sun warm and gentle on your face.
And in your hands,
You hold a small,
Perfect seed.
Breathing in,
And breathing out.
This seed that you hold represents everything beautiful that will grow from your experiences.
All the wisdom,
All the love,
All the strength.
This is a seed that will grow within the rich and fertile space of your heart.
I invite you to hold it there,
Safe and warm,
Nourished by your beautiful heart,
Watered with your appreciation,
Tended by you,
Knowing that it will continue to grow,
Expanding,
And blooming.
You are not the same person you were before arriving to this threshold in your life.
Even if you are not yet fully aware of this,
You are now more.
You are deeper and wiser and more connected to your own truth.
And all of this will only grow as you continue moving forward in your journey.
Breathing in the gifts from all that has been,
Holding in gratitude,
And breathing out love and release.
And out.
As we begin to gently close this practice,
Feel once more the rhythm of your heart beneath your hands.
This heart that honors your past and desires to beat with excitement for your future.
You have loved,
You have learned,
And you are ready for what comes next.
As you move forward from this moment,
I encourage you to gently wonder how this practice of honoring what was might change the way you see yourself today.
I encourage you to walk with curiosity about what unexpected appreciations might arise when you remember that your history is not a burden,
But rather the fertile soil from which all good,
Right,
New,
And beautiful things will grow.
When you're ready,
Gently begin to move your fingers and toes.
Perhaps stretch gently.
And if they have been closed,
I invite you to slowly open your eyes.
And as you move forward from this moment,
Carry this sense of honoring with you,
Knowing that your history is not a burden to be carried,
But a treasure trove of wisdom,
Learning,
And growth.
A sacred part of the beautiful wholeness that is you.
Thank you for sharing this practice with me.
I look forward to continuing.
Blessings upon you,
Beautiful friend.
