Hello,
Welcome to this meditation for healing and nurturing your soul.
Let us begin by settling into a comfortable position,
Whether seated or lying down.
Settling in,
Allow your eyes to gently close or soften their gaze,
And I invite you to observe your breath,
Breath as you settle in,
Observing without judgment,
Noticing how your body feels,
Feeling the connection of the earth beneath you,
Supporting you,
Lengthening your spine,
Relaxing your shoulders,
Softening your forehead,
Around your eyes,
Your jaw line,
And settling in.
I now invite you to take a slow,
Deep breath in,
Feeling the cool air fill your lungs,
And then exhale,
Releasing any tension or anything that doesn't serve you,
Thanking yourself for showing up here today for yourself.
This is your time.
Ralph Bloom reminds us that there is calmness to a life lived in gratitude,
A quiet joy.
Breathe that in,
Gratitude,
Again,
Thanking yourself for showing up and exhaling anything out that doesn't serve you.
Allowing yourself to feel your body connected with the earth,
Or the chair,
Or mat,
Whatever your connections are,
Wherever you are at,
Knowing that the earth beneath you is there to support you.
You may want to allow your hands to rest softly by your sides,
Or over your heart,
And with every breath,
Imagine roots growing from your body to the ground,
Anchoring you in comfort and stability.
As you're resting there,
Connected to the earth,
I invite you to picture yourself outdoors,
Beneath a vast,
Endless sky.
It stretches above you in shades of vibrant blue,
Open and soothing.
The gentle warmth of sunlight caresses your skin.
As you breathe in,
Imagine you're breathing in the color blue itself,
Cool,
Peaceful,
Cleansing.
Let it fill your chest,
And your whole body,
Wrapping you in an embrace of tranquility.
Each breath out releases worry,
Sadness,
Doubt,
Anything not serving you,
Dissolving it into the sky.
Yves Klein said,
Blue has no dimensions,
It is beyond.
Visualize the blue light radiating from above,
Beaming down,
Enveloping you in healing energy.
It touches not just your body,
But your heart and soul.
With every inhale,
This blue light grows brighter,
Washing away old wounds and nurturing tender places within you.
Rumi reminds us that the soul has been given its own ears to hear things that the mind does not understand.
Allow yourself to envision this blue light healing and soothing,
Touching your soul,
Beyond that of the physical body.
Let this light fill any spaces where you feel empty or tired.
Imagine it mending cracks,
Softening edges,
Restoring hope and clarity.
This blue comforting color,
The blue light,
Like that of the sky,
Vast and endless,
Nurturing and healing.
Breathing in the color blue,
Allowing it to fill every cell,
This healing energy,
Comforting,
Nurturing,
And then releasing back out into the universe,
That which does not serve you.
Allowing yourself to nurture,
To feel nurtured.
Picturing that sky,
The sky above you,
Endless and beautiful,
The nurturing healing of blue,
Calming and soothing.
Breathing in,
Letting go on the exhale.
Healing energy,
Touching not just your body,
But your heart and soul,
Here to nourish you,
Heal you,
Washing away anything that doesn't serve you.
Nurturing the tender places within you.
Reminding yourself again of what Rumi said,
The soul has been given its own ears to hear things the mind does not understand.
Reflecting on that,
Healing it with your soul,
Your inner being.
Trusting in this nurturing and healing light,
That of the sky.
Releasing,
Releasing what doesn't serve you.
Inhaling calming,
Nurturing,
Healing energy.
Thanking yourself for this gentle healing,
Making the space for renewal.
Picture yourself beneath this blue sky,
Standing tall,
Full,
Deeply at peace.
What does that look like for you?
Visualize it.
Repeat silently or out loud,
I am held in the arms of serenity.
My soul is nourished.
My spirit is free.
Again,
Silently or out loud,
I am held in the arms of serenity.
My soul is nourished.
My spirit is free.
One more time,
Silently or out loud,
I am held in the arms of serenity.
My soul is nourished.
My spirit is free.
Allow this to settle into your heart,
Knowing that you are worthy.
When you are ready,
I invite you to add gentle movement into your body.
Observing how you feel as you gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Perhaps gently stretch in.
If your eyes are closed,
Slowly opening them,
Knowing that the blue sky and its gentle healing remain within you.
I invite you to carry this peace within you throughout your day and know that you can return to this at any time.
