Box Breathing This breath has 4 equal parts.
Inhale for 2,
3 or 4 counts,
Hold for 2,
3 or 4.
Exhale for the same duration and hold for the same duration.
Like the 4 sides of a square.
Inhale for 3,
Hold for 2,
Exhale for 3,

Let your thoughts come and go like waves while you continue breathing.
This is stability without effort.
You simply are.
And with the next inhale,
Imagine a tree,
Its roots go deep into the earth,
Its crown reaches toward the light,
It does not move with every wind,
It knows its center.
Your breath is like these roots,
It supports and keeps you balanced.

Hold,
Exhale slowly,
Without rushing,
Breathe and continue imagining your tree,
Its roots are grounded in the earth,
Everything inside is balanced,
And over time you settle into the pattern and your breathing begins to happen naturally.
Feel how everything inside becomes quieter,
There is nothing you need to hold on to,
Everything is already in its place.
