Find a comfortable position of your choice.
And begin to notice the rhythm of your breath as it's naturally arising.
You might take a few breaths with one hand on heart center,
The other hand stacked on top.
Getting in touch with your energetic heart space.
Feel how the chest,
Side ribs,
And abdomen expand with each inhale.
With each exhale,
A softening and release.
You can just listen to me state the affirmations,
Or if you'd like,
Try repeating them to yourself out loud or in your mind.
Human beings are naturally creative beings.
I deserve time and space for creativity.
Expressing my creativity with curiosity and non-judgment connects me to my highest self.
Perfection is boring.
I make interesting things.
Creative expression is endlessly generative and fascinating when I focus on process rather than product.
I get to define for myself what a creative life looks like.
Take a few more slow,
Steady breaths,
And let those words land.
For many of us,
Living a creative life is a process of learning.
A creative life is the most joyful,
Soul-giving kind of life,
But we might have some self-limiting beliefs or misbeliefs from out in the world that we're holding that hold us back.
I hope that practicing these affirmations regularly can be a reminder to you that we're all creative beings and we all deserve to express that creativity freely,
