Welcome.
This morning practice invites you to sit at an inner breakfast table with your parts,
Checking in with them gently,
Seeing how they're feeling about the day ahead and offering them the presence of self before anything else asks for your attention.
In this meditation,
You'll be guided to meet your parts with warmth and curiosity,
Noticing what each one needs as you begin your day.
There will be plenty of space for your own reflections and inner listening.
Take a moment to settle into your seat.
Let your body arrive and let your breath soften just a little.
Imagine now that you're sitting at a breakfast table,
Simple,
Warm,
Familiar,
And comfortable.
Feel free to spend some time really picturing this space.
This is a place where your parts can gather with you at the start of each day.
You don't need to force anything.
Just begin to notice who's here with you.
Maybe one part sits down right away.
Maybe another lingers at the edge.
Maybe some are still waking up.
Take your time,
Turn inward,
And notice.
When you feel ready,
Gently acknowledge the part that's closest.
You might say inwardly,
Good morning.
I'm here with you.
Is there anything that you need?
Notice how this part is feeling about the day ahead.
Not jumping in to fix or manage.
Just listen.
If another part wants your attention,
Let it come forward.
Let each one share at its own pace.
Some may feel hopeful.
Some may feel tired.
Some may feel anxious,
Protective,
Or overwhelmed.
Whoever shows up is welcome.
If any part needs something from you,
Like reassurance,
Clarity,
Or a moment of calm,
Let it know that you hear it.
You don't have to solve anything right now.
Sometimes just letting them know that they're not alone,
And that self is here for them,
Can really help them relax.
Just let them feel your presence.
If there's parts who aren't ready to speak,
That's okay too.
Know that your presence is enough.
Before you close and get ready to move into your day,
Take a moment to let your whole system know,
I'm here with you.
We're doing this together.
I'll check in again tonight,
And let that land.
When you're ready,
Return to the feeling of the weight of your body in its seat.
Return to your breath.
And if your eyes were closed,
Gently open them,
And stretch back into your body.
This morning check-in is a practice that grows stronger with repetition.
If you can,
Return to this breakfast table each day,
And pair it with our evening reflection,
To support your parts in feeling held,
Understood,
And accompanied throughout your whole day.
Thanks so much for stopping in this morning.
Take care,
And have a great day.
