Hello and welcome to the meditation.
A moment of compassion for yourself.
This practice will cultivate gentle self-compassion through awareness,
Kindness and soothing affirmations.
This is a space to turn inward,
To rest in kindness toward yourself.
Compassion begins right here,
In this moment.
Grounding in the body,
Guiding you to settle into presence.
Allow your body to settle into stillness.
Feel the rise and fall of your breath.
Each inhale nourishes,
Each exhale softens.
I invite you gently to notice any inner struggle without judgment.
If there's tension,
Fatigue or worry within you,
Simply notice it.
You don't need to fix it,
Just acknowledge it.
This is a moment of difficulty.
We are going to cultivate compassion with loving kindness,
Phrases and affirmations.
Silently or out loud,
Repeat these words.
May I be kind to myself.
May I be patient with my own heart.
May I know I am enough just as I am.
May I be kind to myself.

Feel the warmth of these words as they settle in your chest like gentle sunlight.
We are going to expand the circle and extend compassion outwards.
And as this kindness fills you,
Allow it to radiate outward,
To loved ones,
To strangers,
To all beings.
Compassion flows endlessly when we begin with ourselves.
Take a deep breath in and a slow breath out.
Let gratitude fill your heart for showing up,
For caring,
For being human.
