Welcome,
My name is Emily and I'm so happy that you have found your way here.
Today we are creating a gentle space to reconnect with your heart.
The place within you that knows softness,
Truth,
Love and worth.
Let's begin by arriving together,
A few intentional breaths to settle into the space and prepare for the session.
Take a slow breath in and release and empty out your lungs.
And again.
If it feels comfortable,
Place a hand or both hands over your heart.
Notice the warmth there,
The rhythm there.
The life there.
If journaling has ever felt difficult,
If you've started and stopped before,
If you've ever thought,
I don't know what to write,
You're not alone in that.
This space isn't about writing something impressive.
It's about noticing small things and allowing your thoughts to land on the page just as they are.
Messy is welcome here and simple is more than enough.
Sometimes life can make us forget who we are.
But beneath the noise,
Beneath the doubts,
There is something whole and steady within you.
You are not broken.
You are still there.
Before we begin writing,
Just take a moment to gently check in with yourself.
How are you arriving today?
No need to analyse anything.
Just notice.
You might like to set a small intention for this time.
Something soft and supportive like,
I'll write whatever comes or I'll stay curious.
Let it be light.
I have some prompts that I've prepared for you that you are welcome to use or feel free to stay in the space and write freely,
Whatever comes most naturally to you at this moment.
Remember,
You don't have to use all of the prompts and you can pause or rewind the track to go at your own pace.
Take your time.
I'll be right here with you.
When you're ready,
Open your journal and begin with this simple invitation.
Dear me,
My heart wants me to know.
And just a reminder,
I will recap all of the prompts once we've gone through them once,
So don't worry if you miss one or you're not quite sure what I said.
You will hear it again.
I'll begin the prompts now.
Dear me,
My heart wants me to know.
A truth about myself I'm ready to remember is.
A beautiful quality I already carry is.
Where have I been too hard on myself lately?
What love would say to me today?
What feels true beneath fear or doubt?
One way I can honour who I really am.
A gentle reminder my heart needs to hear.
I'll recap all of those prompts now.
Beginning with dear me,
My heart wants me to know.
A truth about myself I'm ready to remember is.
A beautiful quality I already carry is.
Where I've been too hard on myself lately.
What love would say to me today?
What feels true beneath fear or doubt?
One way I can honour who I really am.
A gentle reminder my heart needs to hear.
Begin to softly bring your writing to a close.
Take a breath.
And notice your heart again.
How does your heart feel now that you have felt its presence and allowed it to be heard?
You do not need to become someone else to be whole.
You do not need fixing to be worthy.
The truth of who you are is still here and always has been.
Take a moment to notice how you feel now.
You've given your heart space and time to be heard.
You have felt the beautiful truth of who you are and that is a gorgeous gift.
Before we close,
Look back at what you've written.
Not to judge it or analyse it,
But simply to notice.
You showed up.
You made space for yourself.
And that matters far more than what's on the page.
Even a few words,
Even a few minutes like this,
Is how a habit begins to grow.
Not through pressure,
But through small,
Steady moments like this one.
You don't have to do it perfectly.
You just have to return.
Whenever you're ready,
You can close your journal.
Take a final breath and gently return to your day,
Taking this intention with you.
Thank you for being here,
For sharing this space and for giving this time to yourself.
You're always welcome here,
So please do come back and join again.
And if it was helpful,
Please let me know.
I love to hear from people and I love to chat.
So please reach out with any suggestions or questions,
Anything at all.
Just let me know.
All that remains for me to say now is go gently.
I hope you have a beautiful day and I'll see you next time.
Bye now.
